people forget how little stats and perks matter for endgame pve content, a 0.5% faster reaload is gonna do absolutely nothing for me
yes, they are easy, yes just get good…….but that doesnt make it a good activity or worth "getting good", getting conqueror was one of the most underwhelming experiences ive ever had, i didnt feel like i overcame a challenge, i feel like i overcame bullshit, half or more of my wipes in total were to bullshit, a boss phasing through walls, a rez being put in an unreachable spot, a champion getting unstunned out of nowhere, etc. its not only not fun but its not rewarding in the slightest
I completely forgot they marketed GMs as a one and done activity.
The fact that the Adept weapons only have a chance of dropping in a Platinum GM is further proof of just how stingy Bungie can be with random loot drops. Honestly, I feel like they've been heavily leveraging intentional loot acquisition mechanics (like Sundial, Umbral Engrams, etc) as a way to abdicate responsibility for having to reevaluate, or rework, their philosophy behind random loot distribution vs player challenge. I just don't understand their mentality behind these decisions.
Am I the only one only getting the last 2 hrs of the stream? It cuts in mid-Q&A for me…..odd.

There used to be a purpose to chasing weapons.
Primaries had elemental damage.
Elemental damage used to mean something when the nightfall had elemental burns.
Farm the weapons for optimal loadouts to make the content easier.
The nightfalls used to be the toughest challenge next to the raid.
You farmed the raids to make the nightfalls farmable for exotics and make strikes cake walks for marks/strike specific loot.
On point lono, ain’t nobody going for a god roll adept.
They should of made adept drop from heroic and above and just made the drop rates better in harder modes and grandmaster if go flawless get 1 everytime..kinda like trials…its just bad to make loot like that stuck behind something that not even 2/3 of the player base plays…..and yes I'm saying the adept version be a low chance in heroic..legend…ect…but grandmaster still being the best drop chance…it be like the feeling of grinding nightfalls would have great meaning….
