Posterity Is The New Not Forgotten (Deep Stone Crypt Hand Cannon) | Destiny 2 Beyond Light

I did the Deep Stone Crypt Raid on day 1 and got The Posterity, a 180rpm Hand Cannon. With a good roll, a lot of playstyle adjustments and Charged With Light, this gun can 3-tap everyone and their dog like the good old days of Not Forgotten.

  1. With the precedent of the 120s, they might actually consider upping the RPM on these a little bit. I don't see another way to balance them as 180s because they already are forgiving and knocking off a shot on the TTK would make them really oppressive. If they do up the RPM though, this gun is going to be a serious contender.

Now off to find a Raid Team that doesn't require 5+ clears and Day 1 Emblem like literally every team on D2 LFG right now (I'm not kidding)

  2. Hey, you could re-review the Seventh Seraph Officer's Revolver since it just got re-released after the 180 buff!
It can get Multi-Kill Clip which lets it 3 tap any Resilience and can reactivate upon itself, giving it a really fast and consistent TTK.
You can run Charged With Light and/or Aspect of Hedrons for a big enough damage boost to 3-tap and get the ball rolling on MKC.
It can roll with Firmly Planted for the Godly Cones as well, letting you throw in crouches to the rhythm of the RoF. Or Underdog for huge reload speed. Very underrated.

  4. If 180s weren't any good, why was it considered a nerf when luna's and not forgotten were lowered to 150? How could any one say with a strait face that 180s aren't any good?

  5. That's the thing with 180 …. You need a specific playstyle to be successful. A playstyle most players aren't used to and so don't get the benefits from a 180. Personally 180 are my favorite weapon types for PvP and got my firat rolls today. One with surplus and opening shot, the other with killing wind and rampage. Definitely will try out those beauties as soon as PvP is enjoyable again. Until than I will shred through PvE with rampage 😁.
But as soon as PvP is a good place to be again, I will use my old wombi combo again. Wishender and a 180 😏. The 180 used to be my beloved Trust RIP good old friend 😔 but I think Posterity will be a great successor for Trust

  6. The buff that 180s need is a fire rate increase. I would like to see them get moved to being 190s or 200s. But making them have a 210rpm would give them the same ttk as a 140
