  1. Well I mean I payed for the first 2 DLC and the original game, hell I pre ordered the ultimate 100$ edition, and I can’t even play that stuff anymore, so I mean free to play players don’t have as bad as you might think.

  2. As a long time veteran of the Destiny games, I'm currently a f2p player in D2 and it's very limited. My biggest gripe is the nightfalls, as maybe 1/4 of the weeks I'm actually able to farm for upgrade materials. I do understand it though, so no big deal.
However there's almost nothing that lends to the idea that f2p players are ruining the game, since the only claim of any substance is that a cheater could just make a new account if banned. Well, good luck getting anything worth while to cheat with mr cheater, it takes forever to get gear sets with stats that are competitive.
The big thing that angers me though as f2p is this weeks nightfall being blocked (Proving Grounds) since any f2p can play the strike normally.
I bought the Season Pass, but can't play a Season Pass strike?

  3. I was active D1 player, recently I've given a chance to F2P D2, and basically it feels like D1 without DLCs. You can play, but there's literally no way to get as strong as players with DLCs.

  4. I played the base game ..i got it for free dont remember how and played it a bit..now i returned and played the f2p version…i dont think its fair for the players that bought the base game and the 2 dlcs and now they practically are f2p players…i never spent a dime on Destiny so im not upset….i can play and i do ok in PvP but its kinda hard. But FOR SURE im not gonna spend money on game that locked players out of PAYED CONTENT later on in its life cycle becasue im afraid they.ll do it again in the future. Too bad , i think the game is pretty good and fun.

  7. Bought this game for $80 in 2017 and beat the game and the leviathan raid and basically every nightfall mission and then come back 2 years later where non of my progress mattered so all that time of grinding and farming was worth nothing

  8. I personally don't give a shit about "all the loot new players can get" and "wow they can do strikes and gambit and crucible". I want the chance to experience the old campaign and vaulted content as a new player, but can't because they removed so much content. Ready to uninstall honestly.

  9. I see no difference if I bought the game originally for 60 or 80$ Yet someone else just got it for free. You’d be out of your fucking mind livid after two years of playing it if you’re a dedicated destiny fan that loved the first but don’t like the second. Overall the free to play is just overflowing the game with constant loot yet at the same time is so much with its monetization and micro transactions it’s not even the same as the first anymore. If they given us players who bought the game before a dlc for free that’s the same price I would be okay, but I don’t see that happening

  10. there is still one main problem, if you are entirely f2p, or you are cross saving an account from console to pc (vice versa), you still have to spend $80 USD to get everything and get into the game :/

  11. I literally fucking hate this game. It's so pay to win for no reason. We literally have to pay money for everything. Especially campaigns which makes no sense at all. It shouldn't cost in order for you to play the game lol.

  12. I've been f2p for about a year now and I really want to convince my parents to buy me beyond light just for the stasis class. they're very skeptic on video games bc of that I'm mostly f2p on any game I get my hands on T-T. Still destiny 2 has some good content for the non paying fan base and it doesn't make you feel like you have to spend money to win,you can just chill with your blue armour and farm stuff 😎

  14. I was a free to play player on my ps4 and I didn't have playstation plus because I was young and didn't have money but since I didn't have playstation plus I couldn't do strikes or gambit or any fun stuff, I couldn't even play with my Friends… I was so bummed and I knew that you can play with friends and do strikes gambit etc, if you are on pc. so I did some research and found "Cross Play" so I switched to pc and had a blast for 2 years without buying any dlc's or silver, So I lived off of the free 2 play version for a while, then I came across 2 weary travelers that had every dlc and season pass, And we became friends, But they wanted to do nightfalls and raids… but I couldn't do that with them so we did nothing but normal pvp for a few months. Then out of no where one of them felt bad for me and spent 90$ on the legendary edition and gifted me it so I had every dlc and pass there were to offer! Currently I am beating raids and 1330 nightfalls with the guys. I had no need to watch this video but I wanted the nostalgia of my past gaming.
