  1. Piggybacking off the comment of PS5 crashes. I hooked mine up early morning on the 17th. Played Miles Morales for about an hour and got a hard crash during a cutscene. Did not boot me back to the Home Screen— outright full shut down. Couldn’t power back on for about 10-15 minutes. And then i got to watch my favorite screen from last gen, the “your console was not turned off properly” screen. Sat through the rebuild and restart, hopped right back in to the game where I left off. Still concerning.

  2. I don't understand why it is such a hard sell to play an open world rpg lrhesw days. Everyone says "I don't think it's possible to play a game like that" or "those types of games just don't work nowadays". But, time is relative. There are only a few reasons why u wouldn't have the time to put into an open world rpg now compared to 4 years ago. If u don't have kids, and u don't have a job where u work 80 hours a week, or a girlfriend, then there is no REAL reason why u can't play a game u really like or want to play. We've been sold a false narrative that we have less time now for some reason. It's only because we buy into it with little or no reason to do so. The media keeps telling us we don't have any time, but in reality, we can make time of we WANT to. I think it's lazy to just say "I don't have time for an open world rpg anymore" if u are single, work from home, and can play whatever u want, whenever u want. Kind of like our hosts here.

Kameo is an EXCELLENT game and deserves to be remembered as such. Anybody who represents Banjo-Kazooie as a great game (and I have know idea what Suriel's feelings are about Banjo-Kazooie, I'm speaking generally) that holds up today has no business skipping Kameo or giving it flack. So there. I happen to get a little worked up about the way Kameo is represented because it's a game I love, thank you for giving me your time.

Oh, and Banjo-Kazooie is a perfectly good game to play today, especially on Rare Replay where the game actually remembers the collectables you've gathered in a stage and doesn't force you to get them all in a single go. Thank you.

  4. 1:47:10 what are you talking about? did you play MGS3? Shadow of the Colossus? those games are beautiful on a CRT, better than many early PS3 games on an HDTV. the jump from PS2 to PS3 wasn't as big as you make it to be. also don't forget about UE5 tech demo, those tech are definitely a huge leap forward. it's up to the business people and developers how big of a leap they want to go from the previous generation. i think the huge install base of previous gen is indeed going to hinder that for now.
