I personally don’t like the old fashioned. After using dire promise for so long, even with a great roll, old fashioned just feels too loose. It’s like Sunshot to me. I don’t like that thing either.

I think I still prefer dire promise, especially for 3s. I have a god roll: steadyhand, highcal, openingshot, rangefinder w/ range mw.
I got a Max range QuickDraw Kill Clip Roll. With QD the handling makes for the best HC Handling in the game. Slide shot is unnecessary.
I've got a sureshot, accurized, explosive payload, firmly planted old fashioned with a range masterwork and the thing snipes. You can also get quickdraw killclip which feels great. Or using lucky pants is always incredible. Maxed handling plus opening shot.
