In this video my goal was to explain what Expansions you need to own to have access to the content, subclasses and more that are tied to each one, and right now on Xbox, Playstation and Steam all the previous content (Legendary Edition) is $32 which will make sure you have access to anything Destiny has released so far. Also will get you access to this season if you want to work on stuff like Ager’s Scepter and such. Witch Queen will launch Feb 22nd and that will kick off Year 5 and I hope I clarified that side of things as well.

So if I previously got the middle tree supers, and then no longer own the dlc's (gamepass) I won't be able to use them anymore? Bc I have let my game pass go unpaid once or twice and could still use them. So now I won't be able to?
Bungie cheating for money you can stop this don't buy the dlc s and silver
The only problem is that you won't get the season passes.
Without those, you miss good lore, activities and a couple of amazing exotics. Those being hawkmoon and dead man's tale.
While the kiosk is the option to get those exotics, these ones comes with some random roles.
How is bungie going to handle that?

I appreciate this. I’m on the game pass, so I’m losing a bunch of primary content (bought individual seasons) 12/7. In anticipation of the drop, I bought everything the other day, minus Forsaken as I bought that at launch.
I wound up spending about $130 with tax to own SK, BL and the super deluxe WQ and 30th. Not sure if I bought SK at launch, but it offered me the “buy to own” option for $8, so I figured I would make sure. I’m perfectly happy with my purchase, particularly after this breakdown.
Regarding Forsaken: will I need to buy this to obtain its exotics, even with it going ftp? / Newlighter

I dint own forsaken nor shadowkeep and I was able to access the middle trees. At beginning I wasn't able to but then something happened and it was active.
I bought beyond light deluxe edition, perhaps that enabled it .
Few days ago I bought forsaken for 8 $ , mainly because of exotics from the kiosk. Shadowkeep has 1 op pve exotic too , erianas wov but since arbalest will get antibarrier soon I decided not to buy that expansion .
32 it’s still expensive so what it is now. They should lower it to 20. I don’t need it because I always buy my expansions when they come out but Bungie it’s really greedy.
Coming from someone with secondary profile. If you dont purchase the season passes for the dlc's, you cant do more than half of the content. You get to do the intro missions and that's it.
