Destiny 2 Best Stasis PvP Warlock Build and the Destiny 2 Beyond Light Best Warlock Build For PvP. This is a PvP Warlock build that is built on the new Stasis Shadebinder darkness subclass in Destiny 2: Beyond Light. This build focuses getting and using your freezing melee ability in most interactions and multiple fragments, stats, and mods to improve these things. This build is one of my best Warlock builds for general Crucible, Iron Banner, and 6v6 playlists. I only use this build for PvP.

This is an aggressive build based on using your freezing melee ability in almost any interaction to easily kill enemies that can’t move. It is a simple premise, but it’s very easy to pull off and does not hinge on tight requirements. When you see an enemy, throw your melee ability, they will freeze in place, and then you finish them off with your Monte Carlo. Monte Carlo will then give you melee energy back and a chance to instantly charge it on kill. If you don’t have a melee charge, you can use your Monte Carlo to deal damage and get your melee back fast.

There are only 2 Aspects for Warlock and they are Iceflare bolts for grenade energy and a Coldsnap trigger on shattering a frozen target and Frostpulse for a freezing rift cast. They give you 3 and 1 fragment slots respectively for a total of 4 fragments. The chosen fragments are Hedrons for bonus weapon damage from freezing enemies, Bonds for super energy from killing a frozen target, Refraction for class ability energy from killing frozen or slowed targets, and Shards for and boosting grenade recharge from shattering stasis crystals. Your Super is above average for freezing many targets with good mobility and range. The best way to use it is to light attack freeze targets and heavy attack to kill all frozen targets in the area. Your Grenade is used in place of your melee when you don’t have melee ability energy. Your Healing Rift is used normally as a defensive option and gives melee energy with Outreach.

Your primary weapon, Monte Carlo, is used in close to mid-range. It is good primary use weapon with its superior exotic tier stats, damage perk, and melee based bonuses. Your special weapon, Felwinter’s Lie, is still incredibly strong in this current Meta where snipers have been nerfed and works well in close range with your melee. Your heavy, a good Grenade Launcher, is chosen for its in between ability of ease of use and potential kills. The most common counter to this build is high mobility enemies, hunter jumps, lateral sprinting, and long range. Be sure to play within your range needs.
