There is an emote bug in the Deep Stone Crypt raid during the Taniks, The Abomination battle that will glitch the game and cause it to crash for everyone except the person doing the emote. This video explains what causes it and what to watch out for so you can avoid having your game crash during the raid.

FOR PEOPLE ASKING WHY EMOTE DURING THIS: You have damage reduction from orbitals while emoting. So people WILL do this.

oh this is why i didnt won the first raid completion…..its because of the bug
now it all makes sense,its bungie fault
my team would have won the first raid completion if not because of this bug

I have a solution maybe stop emoting in the middle of a raid fight.
It is likely because the key binding for interacting with an emote and transferring a core are to hold the same button (square/reload on PS4 for example).
It shouldn’t crash the game though, you’d think the game would be able to transfer the core to the other player instead of interacting or trying to do both.
Good work spotting this and experimenting to see that it had the same effect with all interactive emotes. Definitely something to watch out for.

Don't emote during that part of the raid, simple as…..
Truthfully dont see this being a big deal at all. I think most people now know how to do the raid easily so being able to beat it from start to finish it roughly an hour lets say. Taniks is a cake walk doing it normal so i dont see why anyone would emote glitch it anyway since theres no real purpose to do it. Idk just doesnt seem like an actual problem people would ever really encounter on a regular basis. Saying that it gives damage reduction from the meteors is pretty irrelevant since the glitch is more just for fun than actual being useful.

Simple solution. Don't emote like a jack ass while trying to complete objectives in a raid
Due to an issue we will not disable this resulting as it is not a major issue in the game
