  1. Don't get me wrong. I've already pre ordered beyond light and the season, but bunghole has let me down enough times. I'll play it. I'm pretty sure I'll like it, but life changing? I doubt it

  2. I've always never had faith in the in game story. It always sucked ass so I'm only in it for the lore. Shadow keep was fun but disappointing, the seasonal content after that gave me hope, but then season of the worthy came along and broke it all over again.

Luke Smith said we won't get forsaken level content anymore and since forsaken, taken king, and some of house of wolves were the only in game story content that actually engaged me, hearing that news just makes me not care to think too critically about the in game story anymore and focused all of my big brain energy into the lore which rarely disappoints me.

But hey, beyond light seems promising.

  3. Um the darkness is bad. It's not morally right since it seeks to replace living things that have a cycle in the sun by expediting entropy and a march nothingness.

Not balance. Not a natural order. Anyway. This just giving blademastet darkness boi mcGrimdark lazy morality and a chance to play "dark guardians". Meh.

Just give me more books of sorrow. That was fun. And added depth to the destiny the last 3 years have been lazy.

I'll just go reread the books of sorrow.

  4. A plot twist would be a new speaker coming put of being a gaurdian of darkness because the drifter is goodie with the vangaurs and suggests it throug mediation of ypur voiceless character. Revelations type vibes from this light and dark stuff recently.

  5. I'll tell you WHY the Darkness is bad: THEY LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING! It claims Light is Failure, last I checked Humanity is still alive, and the City, while a little shaken is OK! And we've killed pretty much EVERY threat that's come at us, with but a SLIVER of the Light's power, which is siphoned through a very annoying little chatterbox that keeps us from actually doing the talking. So uh… The Darkness? Keep your power, I have a hammer made of PURE SUNLIGHT that I'm going to smash some of your minion's faces in with some MORE.

  6. I'm just looking forward to a week or two of PvE op fuckery followed by all the bitching that'll crumble out of pvp to nerf it all to powder cause bungo only knows how to nueter

  7. Im not excited for them to re use the horde mode grind fest seasonal model, and im also mad they spoiled another huge plot point for shock value, i would have loved to see the uldren reveal firsthand

  8. I really don’t get the insistence in the “pvp takes no skill” thing. We get it, there’s a tone of aim assist and cheap one shot tricks, so what? People are still better than others. People can still improve dramatically at this game. As someone who has played FPS all my life I really don’t get this argument.

  9. I think the the parts with the new crow player where just uldrens parts from destiny one that got scrapped like most of this new dlc because after all we all know how hard it is to make content right ? Just stick d1 and d2 together as one game and be done with all this buying old content crap it’s getting boring now

  10. And one new planet in two years really two years and you couldn’t make a forsaken sized dlc . Shadow keep is the moon with tacked on parts and now the cosmodrome what next the dreadnaught 😂

  11. The notion of The Last Array coming back is really interesting. Like, all the Rasputin based retcons aside (RIP Charlemagne and your spiffy vault), I do wonder what narrative threads they're gonna pull there.

  12. But Joker. I kinda hate when you say Destiny PvP doesn't require any skill.
If that was true, I would already visit the Lighthouse. If that was true, I wouldn't be absolute shit in PvP.
And in regards to PvE, even if that's not what you talked about – I would be able to do flawless solo dungeons. I would be more usefull than the side-guy in raids and actually do the important tasks.
It's easy to say the game doesn't require skill, when you have skill. I don't. So there.

  13. I just couldn’t get hyped like the usual fanboys always get every season after Forsaken… they promised so much in all these vidoc’s every time! SK all these changes and it was just meh… have to admit they know how to make hype video’s but fool me once…

  14. You never add a freeze mechanic in a FPS, because no amount of skill and practice can overcome it, you must stand there and wait for it to play out without your input. What's the most annoying power to fight against in Overwatch? Mei freeze and McCree stun. This is the final FU by crucible devs to the community that rejected their sad attempt with 4v4 dual primary lane camping.
