  1. Here is my review of Destiny 2 Beyond Light. Enjoy!
Update: I want to say thanks to everyone that watched! I’m taking in all the feedback and I’m going to apply it to any reviews for games going forward. I really wanted to make sure this was as spoiler free as possible. When more Season of the Hunt content releases, I will make a more in-depth review of the Season overall.

  2. Even though I like a quick and easy review, I would have liked a bit more of an in-depth look on why it's a good expansion. Maybe tackling topics which will get people to convince them to get it like, guns, story, gameplay, activities and such.

  3. Its a pile of wank, warmind esque writing all the pr was focused on drifter eris etc and barely focused on them at all. You're delusional bro and I want what you're smoking it seems to blur reality. Bungie are still in the loops of being barely alive to slightly above mediocre. Bungie have indoctrinated players to have such low expectations and celebrate wank content. Curse of osiris had 2 strikes let that sink in. No vender refresh 2 years in a row

  4. Good story. But 8.5? Come on man. Story was good, graphically it looks great. But all you did was kill waves and waves of the same old fallen ads, and every boss fight was basically the same other than some play forming variations. Combine it with the complete lack of loot vs sunsetting. It’s better than shadowkeep, but I can’t give it better than a 5/10

  5. Holy crap this blew up a little overnight. Thanks for watching! I tried to leave a reply for all the comments. Also, keep in mind, this was only a quick review of the 8+ hour campaign. I’ll make a more in-depth season review in the coming weeks. There is still a lot of post-campaign and post-launch seasonal content that I have yet to start or hasn’t released yet.

  6. Appreciate seeing a smaller channel do a review. Next time I would go more in depth. Also, hard disagree on this expansion being worth 50 dollars. We’ve lost a fuck ton of our original armory, only to be replaced by what, 20 guns? Also, the new stasis subclasses are fun but janky as fuck.

  7. I think a great summary of this expansion is if you liked Shadowkeep, you will most likely be satisfied with Beyond light. I genuinely think Shadowkeep was worth probably 15-20$[season pass included]. I would understand the content deficit this game experiences if it were a small independent company, but its not, its a multi-billion dollar company who has been in the industry for nearly two decades. I do not know what is going on at their extremely nice studio that they frequently show off in their VIDOCs, but the amount of content that they give to players in these expansions is laughable. Take a game like World of Warcraft, another MMO, with a similar, if not smaller team that actually develops the game. Their new expansion will feature 5 explorable zones, 3+ completely new raids, more than 6 dungeons each with their own unique mechanics, and a vast array of gear and weapons the player can pursue. They are selling this expansion for 40$ with a 10-15$ subscription fee depending on the package you buy. So for a price that is almost, if not less expensive you can get more than triple the amount of content offered in Beyond Light.

  8. Ultimately got burnt out, haven’t played the game in a year. Is this dlc worth buying? Do y’all think it would bring me back in or is it simply just another shallow dlc.. if I did get it do you need all the other dlc’s from the past as I only have forsaken I think, and I know there’s more than just that one.

  9. With all due respect, this is not worth 40 dollars. We get a new zone, a new strike, 3 subclasses, and a raid. That is significantly less than Forsaken, yet it costs equally as much and you don't get the season pass. Regardless of how good it is, there is simply not enough to justify the 40 dollar price tag.
