Destiny 2: Beyond Light – New Season of the Hunt Title Image/Main Theme (Full Theme, No Commentary)

Here it is, finally the main theme for Beyond Light and honestly I am very happy to be hearing something different at last haha, this theme not only slaps but also really makes it feel like everything’s falling apart… the Darkness is here and they aren’t holding back. I also hear some different parts of older more Awoken type themes, probably to link Uldren’s and Variks’ return etc, really has a nice Fallen side to the theme, and that’s Fallen as in the enemy race haha, as they are the main bad guys this time around.

So since I did one of these when Shadowkeep came out, another one when D2 originally released and I had also previously done it for Rise of Iron, I figured I’d try to keep it consistent and make one for Beyond Light, and with the preload for Playstation already in motion, I can!
Hope you enjoy this, and also let me know what you think of the new theme, love it, hate it, indifferent about it? Let me know.

The music and background for the video IS what we’ll see and hear when you boot up the game after the big update Monday/Tuesday (whenever you do yours) so yeah it’ll a cool background that currently is feeling a little out of place, but maybe that’ll change once Beyond Light finally releases!

  1. I think this may have become my new favorite title screen theme. It has that taken king vibe to it, just a desolation of hope. This may be me over dramatizing it, but I can’t help it, it’s the type of theme that plays after the good guys throw everything they have at the enemy and it doesn’t do squat. I.e, Avengers getting clapped by Thanos, King Ghidorah rag dolling Godzilla, and of course Oryx rising from the depths of space to face us.

  2. Wouldn’t be surprised if backgrounds Reef. If post Beyond Light is building up to fight Savathun, then story will definitely expand Mara’s story and what shes been doing along with the Awoken. Plus, dreaming city and tangled shore are still present and 1st season involves Uldren and dreaming city (Hive growth happened there)

  3. I’m thinking that big rock is a huge war moon. If you didn’t know, the hive spend years converting moons in to what are essentially portable battle stations, and I’m thinking because the boot up screen is related to the season, that the rock is a war moon the xivu arath is using as like a home base
