Xeno is the way to go with machine gun ammo finder and machine reserves then i normally spend 15-20mins at the boss lol
Finally a guide not using anarchy… I don’t have it lol
solar damage is increased by 50%, the boss one shots you at 1220
Thank you for this, got necrotic grips 2nd run, using 1237 equipped (1248 with artifact). Can't wait to try them out!
Your guides have been really great, much appreciated!
Good guide, that truthful joke at the end was funny. Aeon soul is a horrible exotic
thanks for the video. This lost sector is a skip for me. I can wait till tomorrow!!!
This legend lost sector sucks really bad I was lucky to get through it once but I couldn't get the arms. Idk what bungie was thinking but they over did it with this lost sector
I love that solo has chances at a very specific piece of exotic gear. Not a guaranteed exotic not a quest, just a shot at one.
I used hardlight for this and it was perfect because i alternated between arc for captains and void for the sphere bois. (i somehow forgot their name)
It seriously took me 31 runs to get necrotic grip
without this, I would be lost throughout the whole thing. Finally I have icefall mantle. 100% underrated channel
I used the vow , pulse and void sword. You could cheeses boss by standing on ledge above before you go down on the lower platform. Their is a small cut in the rock that looks like a. V shaped. I crouched and just shot at his feet through this small crack with my primary and vow. Until his health was low. Either use your super to clear adds or kill the boss with little health. Funny thing he didn’t move the whole time while shooting at his feet. The vow was good for either the void or ark shield. If you have it. Not everyone does. My run times were like 10-11 mis . Crazy no exotic drop for me yet
Vorpal weapon Arctic Haze with extended clip and disruption to champs will help so much on champs and last boss
Aeon…lol. Great guide. I appreciate you doing these from the perspective of someone without all the tools like Eriana's or Xeno. Borealis was my go to early on for match game. That, a decent range pulse, and GL would be a solid combo if you wanted to avoid using more restricted exotics.
Thank you!!
These Legend Lost Sectors sucks big time
supers and the well will blow thru immunity.Just to let everyone know.Good vid tho.
Subclass- Warlock: Well
Titan- Bottom solar
Hunter- Stasis
Kinetic- Literally any decent sniper
Special- Stars in shadow(Anti barrier)
Power- Lament (dont really use it for anti barrier
Mods: overload nades combo
Strat: 1st room try and kill all ads from the crouching area then nade champ, Lament him
2nd room Snipe servitor then destroy barrier from afar, repeat until it dies. Then kill ads until its just you and overload , nade then lament.
3rd room: Draw out shanks then nade lament combo
Boss room: Kill ads, Stand where boss spawns, Lament untill either you or he dies. If you die try and snipe from the back.
Rinse and repeat until exotic drops I have optimized it for 4 mins without deaths.
Whoever thought overload captains would be a good idea needs to get fired
This lost sector is trash for how its laid out. But the walk throughs are great.
Greatly appreciate your solo walk throughs on the lost sectors! Takes me back to your solo strike runs in D1! Fantastic "sherpa" narrative!
Thank you
Great guide as always. I tried this at 1235 last night thinking I could finally get it done, but I just get one-shot by the overload guys, even when I'm careful. Had good chuckle when you got an Aeon Swift gauntlet…"that can't be considered an exotic" Haha!
Finished… took awhile, tough LS. Thanks for vid.
Use that barricade .. did you use enough barricades ??
If anyone has the exotic hardlight . It'll be perfect for this load out
Bruh they just changed it to 1280
Ty,tough one but got throw it and got a exotic 🙂
My set up was Friction Fire SMG, Hard Light exotic with catalyst, and a Guillotine sword. For my powered by light mod I used the one that made swords stronger. I got lucky with the boss fight at the end. He was on the left side of the room and some how got stuck on the environment/stun locked so I was able to slash him with a sword without dying so he went down in seconds. I'm surprised I didn't get stomped or killed by the other ads.
Ok Mango condom equipped!
Trying to solo this right now so i came here to see how not to die
I used No Time To Explain and just hanged back at the 1st part of the boss room. I just ignored all the adds and attacked the boss hitting him with my pulse. The boss never moves close to the Servitor to get immune.
Man all you need is a Kinetic Scout w/overload.. Eriana's Vow.. Falling Guillotine for the boss and servitors at the end .. Well of radiance and overload fusion grenades
Finally a video that I can follow. Great video!
Forgive my ignorance but why does everyone put handling over stability for masterwork? Is it a PvP thing?
I went with overload scout (nightwatch) with explosive rounds, riskrunner, and guillotine. All the arc shots and vex mill proc'd riskrunner consistently to take care of all the ads, the scout was nice for the distance, explosive rounds helped widdle away the arc shields when necessary, and also the void servitors. Maybe not the most efficient, but it got me the Icefalls
this is a really great guide, thanks man.
how about you just use the hard light for the match shields? and i love all your videos. keep up the good work
On 1280 there is a barrier servitor that hides when you shoot it and gives immunity to the heavy shank and all the shanks around it. Ridiculous honestly.
I had taken a little over q year off Destiny. Just came back. I'm having fun. I missed your videos! Glad you are still making them.
Hard light works great in this one.
I had 6 revives but didn't realize that it resets the whole lost sector at death vs the boss. I died using my super and I got booted out to the entrance. Pretty annoyed.
Armor drops do rotate with the lost sectors. There’s 4 pieces you can get and 5 lost sectors total. So it’ll shift. But the legend drop will become the master drop the following day.
Try Corsairs wrath in the heavy slot if you don't have xeno.
I run out break and a blue solar scout and fg sword little hard and im 5 under power but still managed
Did this 8 times in a row and got no exotic, just garbage blues
Total respect for your authenticity in these videos
Use Hardlight as your AR if you have it. You can change the element on the fly to match the shields of your targets. And it hits fairly hard and is quite accurate. It's been very useful for me.
