I really hate the fact that people compare beyond light to forsaken… its such a stupid comparison: they had so much funding at the time and people to make forsaken the way it was, dont get me wrong I loved forsaken amazing expansion but people are forgetting they do not have that money or resources anymore! I personally loved beyond light, for a company that no longer has such funding to create such a interesting dlc! A weather system that affects the gameplay, a whole new element that has even the smallest shards of ice affect an enemy, it's a gorgeous dlc with a higher difficulty and let me tell you I've wanted the game to be harder for a while! The game became much too catered to the less hardcore players I understand however the dlc has some problems such as blocking lost sectors atleast at the hard mode if you dont have the DLC BUT moaning about stasis being op is not a smart play at all, I dont mind being frozen and killed and you know why? You are to adapt to change, being much more careful and creating strategy with your team brings so much engagement, the game in all honesty could use stats that could help with effects an example could be gear that is warmer or has a heat buff that allows you to move through stasis nades for a second or so longer without freezing, or maybe a poison resistant armour to some smaller point or possibly against other elements! There a alot they can do but if we dont voice our opinions then maybe we wont get that improvement and I know weve been voicing many opinions but hey who knows something may catch their eye, please everyone let's not shit on bungie, covid hit them incredibly hard just like everyone here and on top of this they dont have the funding they used to, they worked incredibly hard to give us this and it's still incredible
The melee on the warlock is fine now from what I know they nerf the speed of the projectiles. The spoils of conquest suck dude they overdid the old raid exotics price for the currency I mean 2 cyphers and 200+ spoils is over doing it

Beyond Light was an amazing expansion, but the loss of a lot of content and its price hampered the experience. Other than that, I like the path that Bungie is on with Beyond Light.

– Uhmmm…. I have been playing A LOT of old content to try to get to the pinnacle cap. Old strikes, old locations, old gambit/pvp maps, etc…
Giving people no incentive to play the old raids (which imo are really great pieces of content) is kind of strange.
The lost sectors would be better if you didn’t have to run them solo
It was good, but not like usual. Usually when new stuff comes out I want to play everyday, but now I don't even feel like playing. And feel they charged way too much for how little there is. Also feels like they took so much away that you paid for already.

Fair review. The game isn’t perfect, but it’s playing more like an open-world game…and if you like those games, it’s fun. But I think you have a lot of shooter gamers and pvp players who are mad about this change in direction. But one game can’t be everything to everyone.
I like the expansion and season so far with the exception of pvp. To me personally it is unplayable this season.

bungie's point is to make you play the new content that is why they added 0 pvp maps and 1 new strike. GENIUS

The dlc is is fine. I've got issues with it. But I can enjoy it for what it is. The seasonal activity I'm just flat out not even bothering with. I honestly can't be asked to go into dead playlists in terms of content to charge the Lures.
I like destiny, I don't think anything will change my mind but in saying that,what they're charging for the dlc plus season pass is a full game price… and it's not a big dlc… I just can't justify paying that much for so little…
To be honest I have played destiny for years and this is the worst that I think the game has been. I hate to say it but bungie is not able to maintain the game and it shows. I think it is time to either get some new leadership or abandon the game and start over with the right people. I do not know any other game where creators are able to get away with so many things wrong and be defended. If they did this with cod people would just stop playing.

My little brother plays about 2 hours 5 days a week (4 mostly). He's almost done with the content …… don't know mesa ….. seems like a big break period is on its way …… unfortunately
Nothing personal Mesa but the fack you think it's remotely realistic to expect bungie to add 100 items to a season pass that be impacting enough to give every level a wow factor is laughable.
Maybe it's time to step back and wonder if there's a reason you have to repeat yaself and why that might have nothing to do with Bungie.

Average player (couple of hours A DAY) will never finish the seasonal artifact (or finish it to late) and reach 1280 to go to any really awarding strike so, will not have materials to make armor builds/masterwork weapons, etc. Mediocre activities are not fun, they are extremely repetitive and scheduled like you walk into the game as you’re doing some job you obliged to do. Raid is great!
Does osmosis work with stasis.?
Don’t understand the Complaints about content going away; Mars, Io, Mercury and Titan didn’t really offer much, not compared to Dreaming City and the Moon etc
In Beyond Light; They’ve added a new element, the biggest destination ever in Europa, a much more immersive campaign and endgame/post raid story content, and probably way more we don’t know about yet, Bungie don’t show their entire hand on day 1, that wouldn’t be as fun.
Yeah it sucks that lots of weapons and have been made redundant in a lot of the newer content but they will come as the seasons and events roll on
