Cerberus in a nutshell: you see Ivan if you shoot many bullet at once chance of missing enemy decreases.
i just got the weapon and went into crucible and i dont know how but randomly it can shred ppl within range
I've always found Cerberus to be a surprisingly effective weapon! Even more so now since as a Warlock I have a viable way to shatter Stasis crystals! (Big Thank you to RdyPlyOnE for truing me onto that aspect of the weapon!!) What's your take on Cerberus?
NOTE: In the PvP Damage section when testing the base fire-mode damage, I said that 2 full spreads of crits (8 bullets) was lethal at point blank range, but in the text I had typed in that it required 4 crits, and 4 body shots. Sorry about the error in the text!!
This was my pve bae along with huckleberry and sweet business. Wanna wreck ads? Here ya go! Mid range in crucible is serviceable (as in you can wreck close range lol)
You should do a review on the oxygen sr3 in quickplay. I think it is way too overhated and you can pull of some crazy plays with dragonfly spec with it
All it needs is a shader. 👌
Cerberus+1 used to be my main in pvp back in forsaken when I wasn’t any good at crucible simply because of its ease of use.
Great video! This is probably my second favorite weapon, besides Heir Apparent, wish we had some mod to let it generate Warmind Cells somehow. It'd be the ultimate add-clear machine!
Back at it again…again.
This thing with dual auto rifle loader is so fun to use in vanguard strikes
You know I've been wondering why you love Fusion Rifles so much because before hand I really thought they were a waste of time. BUT I WAS WRONG. I've been using them likes it's D1 but….jeez…. My Glaciocoasm doesn't play. I actually know why they underperform or at least it seems that way. I noticed how whenever I wasn't getting bullet hosed the weapon would kill. Perhaps the flinch, as when my face got bursted by a shotgun I noticed how all bolts deviated. Either way Fusions are fine it's just the perks are so…..boring .
I'm pretty happy the ornament popped up as a daily eververse buy a few days ago. Looks so much nicer with it.
Cerberus and graviton lance are my favorite pvp weapons… clanmates always give me flak for using "bad weapons"…
I’ve actually recently stopped playing destiny recently,it just got so unfun and boring for me.But I’ll always drop some support for my fav destiny YouTubers!
Thanks for the mention! I've been running C+1 all week with wall nades and it's been really fun. No one expects a Warlock to shatter them so I've been catching a lot of people off guard.
Focused Fire + War Rig takes so obscenely long to deplete the magazine that it's hilarious.
I remember this thing being excellent when I used it before Arrivals, but I'll have to try this out again. It's effectively a Destiny equivalent of the AA12…Good review.
Edit: Regarding PvE endgame…The shot spread does mean you have a better shot of tagging/stunning Overloads with the Overload Auto mod this season.
Cerberus+1 has always been one of my favorite fun to use guns. Great review
Tbfh.. this gun always felt good
I'm sorry but it feels like the base value PvP damage testing is wrong?
If it does 25 to the head per pellet, dealing 100 damage, and 64 to the body, then 4-head 4-body would only deal 164 and not kill.
It would need 7 head 1 body to deal 191 damage to kill 5 Resil or less. 8 head to kill 6 Resil or more.
At any rate, thank you for doing testing on Cerberus and giving us this insight!! I've been considering it often but I've been afraid of the Range. Thanks!
I would like to see Cloudstrike on the list next, please. For PvE and PvP because it is quite interesting.
Equipping auto rifle targeting circumvents the poor handling. Ophidian aspects and the basic weapon dexterity perks are nice, but the helmet targeting mods really help out more than you'd think.
In an alternate universe where we still have double primary, cerberus+1 is extremely overpowered.
I remember when datto did this, thank u for tryin to fill those shoes
When it comes to shattering crystals, I really like Fighting Lion. If Lion damages an enemy with the same blast that shatter the crystals, and the crystals get the kill, I’m pretty sure it instantly reloads the GL.
If youve got the catalyst, it's a passable option for Taniks too. Not the best, but passable if you're a newer player and happen to have it.
Finally! i main cerberus+1 on my titan and have never seen a single person use it or talk about it.
seriously an underrated gun.
This is the kind of analysis I’ve been looking for. There is basically no reason to ever use the catalyst mode but it was a cool idea. Imagine if the catalyst was explosive rounds or timed payload
When I got this weapon from Xur a couple days ago…I was a bit skeptical… I’ve mostly been sticking to the Ace of Spades… but Lordy!!! It absolutely shreds adds!!!
Still on the grind for the Hardlight though.
