Destiny 2 Beyond Light is here, and I’ve never been so underwhelmed. The Destiny magic is officially gone for me. I won’t be playing Beyond Light or any Destiny 2 content this year. It’s just clear at this point that the game isn’t for me at all anymore.

I think it's time that I move on from Destiny 2. At this point it's clear that Bungie has different plans for Destiny than I'd hoped and they've continued down this path that I just can't get behind anymore. If you still enjoy the game, great. I hope the magic doesn't die for you, like it has for me.

I think the thing I'm hearing from a lot of these complaints is "I have nothing else to do and can't pace myself". I work full time and only have a few hours a day to play. I only just beat the campaign, and have really loved it thus far. To me, this expansion was focused on players who, like me, don't have all day every day to play. Destiny has always been a game that needs to be paced better in my opinion, and I think the people butt rushing through it prove this point.
Well your first issue is that you spent $70 on Beyond Light Deluxe. If you had any memories of how scarce every expansion has been, you’d realize that you could simply pay $40 for the expansion, ignore the season pass, and then be fine. Mind you, I’m not proud of or disappointed in this expansion. I’ve left myself feeling indifferent and spared myself any feeling for Destiny expansions by going for the bare minimum since House of Wolves.

I went back to D1 on a fresh character and I'm enjoying it more than this.
and they removed half the game for free to play players , that was the quickest uninstall in my gaming history LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL and ""outside of europa the game feels dead"" i hope it does cuz all the free to play players have probably uninstalled since bungie removed all the content for us :/

It feels like they’ve just removed everything and it’s a vanilla version of the game again. Why does this shit keep happening when a game gets good? I came back to Battlefront 2 last year and was amazed at how far it had come. Then, cancelled. Stop ruining good games 😩

I've always liked Destiny 1 more than Destiny 2 solely due to the variety of weapons and armor it had, and how progression was done because it felt intuitive and more customizable than what we have now in Destiny 2. I always thought I was alone in that department, but after watching this video and reading the comments I agree whole heartedly and am glad to know I am not alone in liking Destiny 1 more than Destiny 2. Hopefully when the future updates roll out Destiny 2 will reach its peak of entertainment and worth.
On one side it´s disappointing how less content is in this game, on the other side i´m happy because now i will have more time for cyberpunk and have no worries about missing content in d2 xD
I thought this was one of the best DLC they released in years 🙂 It felt hard which was a cool change in my opinion. The campaign was long, and it felt like it was actually worth playing because you are slowly upgrading and learning to use stasis. I hope you end up enjoying it 🙂
I would much rather they abandon the season model and just give us 2 Expansions a year. A $40 Taken King sized one in the fall and a $20 Warmind sized one 6 months in. But

Beyond light sucks and the fact that it feels like they ruined the game disabling mods like powerful friends and sunsetting the some of the best guns in the game this sucks
The fact this video has 2k dislikes is really telling how some people have such a hard on for this game they can’t even take criticism for a shallow experience that deserves to be criticized Sure not everything’s been released but I’m sure this was a majority of the content and I’ll be honest Europa isn’t really that fun to even explore the fact that they replaced 4 planets to add in Europa doesn’t seem worth it I’m not counting the cosmodrome because it’s basically the same from d1 this isn’t worth 40 dollars they sunset like half the weapons which is stupid and they didn’t even add in enough weapons for it to seem worth it I mean seriously you charge base 40 dollars and only give 2 new pieces of exotic armor for each class man I hope whatever comes out Tuesday can help a lot otherwise it doesn’t feel worth it
The expansion is time gated… just like destiny has always been, but bungie didn’t use to put up road maps for you people. Season of the hunt is a part of beyond light. Quite frankly the only content on your YouTube channel is destiny critique. If you don’t like the game just stop making videos on it. We won’t miss you
The dlc is 40 dollars without the season pass. I think looking at it in comparison with TTK would be good.
Honestly I really like this dlc but something feels very wrong. I don't care about the removal of D2 content since most of it I disliked (I hate Calus).
To me the leveling system of power drops, how the weapons feel like crap in comparison to D1, the season pass being essential when leveling up all hurt the game a lot, and finally the pre-order bonus being inaccessible to non pre-order players.
I really want to like this dlc with the secrets, legendary lost sectors providing unique exotic rewards, story provided, weather changes, and customisable subclasses returning

Also I find that gambit only has one battle and it's over I loved going 1 on 1 then throwing on shards if gal and using bald berage to smoke the boss now shads are useless since the patch
