  1. "Here comes Guardian. Right on time."
Well I think you did good even without me. Look at that John Wick Mode stranger exo-girl thingy! Oh… You don't know who is John Wick, right?

  2. I have a theory about the three “who have transcended their design”. Though the temptation is powerful, I believe the reason that Elsie, Drifter, and Eris are able to resist corruption and use only the Darkness’ power in the form of stasis, is because they all faced the darkest points in their lives and were able to overcome the guilt, fear, doubt and anger they felt. While also coming to terms with death and the friends they’ve lost. The accepted it as a natural necessity. Unlike Guardians who seem to resist death in the form of resurrection by their Ghost. Thus, by overcoming the lowest point in their lives and accepting the loss of those close to them, the Darkness found no negative emotions within them to prey on and manipulate them with. They all came from a past and lives of misery and tragedy, having faced the worst, they can easily resist the temptation of corruption. I can also understand why they’d unite as a “fire team” or trio, misery loves company. Our Guardian has endured the lowest point in our lives: we lost our friend Cayde, lost the City, lost our Light, almost died to Gaul. Was nearly corrupted when we entered the Pyramid. Yet we overcame it all. I hope that is something that Ana (or Shin) can learn when/if they learn to wield Stasis.

TLDR: the “dark Vanguard” can resist darkness because they overcame most depressing time in their lives and learned to accept that death is a natural part of life when losing loved ones. That’s my theory.
