The Templar falls, and so does the Fireteam…into the familiar eeriness of that is the Gorgon’s Maze. Their piercing glare is enough to erase the Guardians from existence after a few seconds (if the team isn’t fast enough to destroy it).
Beyond that, the platforms still fade from existence, but the portal at the end that the Kid wondered where it led to still stands. Peering through, the underbelly of Io, where Xol ran off to, still stands. Is the Darkness’ influence corrupting the land?
