Destiny 2 Beyond Light – Solo Omnigul 2.0 Strike – The Disgraced / Navota Strike. Just a quick video showing the newly added Omnigul strike, which is now “The Disgraced” and you fight Navota instead of Omnigul.

Surprisingly different to the original for the boss fight which I wasn’t expecting. The rest remains much the same compared to before.

PC setup:
MSI MPG Z490 Mobo, i9-10900k CPU, RTX 2080 Super GPU, 64GB DDR4 3200 C16 Ram, 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD, 8TB HDD

  1. This strike is neither exciting nor particularly fun. It's literally Omnigul without any of her challenge, character, lovely singing voice, or even a unique mechanic. They could've at least had the decency to use the rest of Crota's Temple theme in her fight to provide a sense of danger or urgency, but no. The best part is the Warmind soundtrack, for all the five seconds it lasted.

  2. Reused content left and right. Fucking pathetic, Bungie. I hope the ones behind these decisions get hurt or even die. I dont even care how mean that sounds. It is just getting rediculous how greedy and lazy they are.

  3. I find it confusing that Bungie complained they needed to balance encounters around utility abilities that "trivialised" things, like Well of Radiance.
Then then introduce new abilities that have this potential level of crowd control.
Does this mean new content boss encounters will not have hordes of low level mobs so it's not as useful?
Or are they going to do the opposite, essentially making some form of CC mandatory in boss encounters?
