Is Destiny 2 now PERMANENTLY in Decline?

Read more about Destiny 2 ➜ https://destiny2.mgn.tv

Destiny 2 certainly has a lot of issues… it is now on a decline and seems very unlikely that Bungie will be able to reverse that… There may not be a Destiny killer out there but Destiny continuously loses players to other games and it becomes very difficult to comeback… Destiny is slowly dying

  1. I quit Destiny 2 the same week Beyond Light came out. That was my last draw with them. Removing content and bringing old recycled content from D1 I played to death pushed me to the edge. I haven’t touched it since and will not come back and give Bungie money for stuff I already paid on the last game. I don’t agree with saying D2 is for pros now, atleast when I last played it it was still easier then D1 and nurfing, sunsetting weaponds and bosses just made it even easier for the casual player. It was only hard when the mechanics on say for example raids wouldn’t work cause the raid it self was broken and the only solution was to go to orbit and jump back in. Thats not hard just lazy coding.

  2. the gameplay loop…. yet everyone seems to like Battle Royales like Warzone and Apex legends, not it won't die because for many many people this is new, i haven't played Borderlands and diehards of borderlands might be done with the game already but that doesn't mean that for me is going to be a dogshit experience, yeah you as a player, when you invest a huge amount of time on a game you'll eventually get bored, like League of legends players, Fortnite players, the legend of zelda players, R6 Siege players, CS players, etc no game will ever satisfy you, ever, because for that to happen Devs will have to be 24/7 nonstop making content and eventually you'll have a creative block, what you are asking takes time, they can't come up with new shit (in a meaningfull way) every year, it takes a lot of time, heck, COD games have been the same all this years since the begining, yeah, they have had quality of life changes like sprinting, ledge grabing, new animations, some gameplay mechanics like sliding, etc but the core game is still the same, destiny have had a lot of quality of life changes, but those take time to come up with (implement them in the proper way, without breaking the game and shit), you are just being delusional

  3. I'm not gonna watch 5 minutes of this nonsense.
This season was a huge step up, in comparison with season of opulence and even major DLCs.
Also, go read the dev update for 2021.

  4. This many years into this franchise, players shouldn’t still be saying they “have hope”. No other company is given the kind of slack Bungie is.

  5. I have been playing since it was free to play and it is grindy and BUGGIE,I think Bungie found a system that worked years ago and just didnt want to change with the times,I like my clan and I like most of the game modes, but I have seen so many other games that are so well made it is hard to justify coming back and grinding out the same stuff over and over. we wont even talk about how trials isnt approachable for the average PVP player

  6. You complain about lack of content, and then you name off all of the new stuff to do, and then you complain that it uses the game mechanics that make Destiny 2, … Destiny 2. Well no kiddin' , who woulda thunk it!? And why in the world would you want GMNF or soloing Master Lost Sectors to be at an accessible level to a brand new player? THE GRIND TO GET TO THAT POINT IS THE WHOLE POINT. I'll tell ya one thing though, if that was my outlook on it, I sure wouldn't be wasting my time on it, or making videos about it unless I thought it would benefit my channel in some way….. o wait……..that's you, relying on the popularity to gain views and comments. It's times like these that I wish I had two more hands, so I could give you 4 thumbs down. H8H8H8H8H8.

  7. This man really said the games for hard-core players, the game has no end game content that stays interesting. New raid is easiest they've made, exotic quests take no skill and no new dungeon.

  8. I'm waiting for the next season to try… least will have to grind just 10 power. But still it remains a long xp grind for seasonal rank. If this power BS would go out and it would be completely linear, that would be something. And then why not more MMOish stuff like Armor Sets with bonuses per how many you have on you, and moving away from random rolls to giving the player a total number of points to allocate to armor… But they won't do it, and you were right to put the Deep Stone Lullaby…

  9. Gaming has been struggling in general, greed and laziness has really dropped the value of most games currently. Even if they are successful and even if there are occasional gems, you can't argue with the massive negativity every franchise is getting. Part of it is cancel culture and people complaining online but it just seems like gaming has lost that magic. Reskins, copies or straight downgrades are common place now. Innovation has been replaced with stretched timelines and titles dragging on far past what they should.

  10. I kinda agree with this guy. Even though there are still some fun activities like the raids and exotic quest, how many times are we actually going to run them before we start getting bored. I've been playing destiny since for awhile now and have held hope for the game. And while it's true that they have made improvements, I still find my self only getting on maybe twice a week to grind challenges now. Both my clan and I had to venture out and find new games that we could play and have fun together. We will continue to support bungie and play destiny but I can also see why others are leaving the game especially if they are not hard-core or have much money invested into the game.

  11. the game isn't in a terrible state although the net code is pretty bad at the moment when your trying to shoot something and it either disappears and comes back or just kinda teleports right on top of you(and im not talking about the taken) but the game play some times just feels a bit stale from DLC to DLC it feels like were just doing the same kinda thing and every boss champion and mini boss has the exact same stomp mechanic even if it doesn't have feet. it just feels like bungie are just going through the motions with destiny now bringing back old content/guns(don't get me wrong i can't wait to play VoG again) just to fill a hole as it brings in enough income to keep the finances ticking over and hardcore players happy while they are now more focused on a new IP that we have yet to know about there was one mentioned a few years ago called Matter i dunno if thats still in the pipeline.

  13. I’m 1337 power light season rank 401 and there is nothing to do right now. I have all the god roll weapons and there is nothing more to chase. PVP has no new maps and Gambit and strikes are boring. I’m beginning to get bored with this game.

  14. Destiny 1 to 2 and through all the expansions. It's the same stuff being reskinned. There is zero challenge in destiny. Personally, for me, nothing has ever compared to beating Vault of Glass way ahead of the curve during destiny 1. Everything that's come since is pretty much follow the guide and get the loot gameplay.
