  1. Video has been out for 2 minutes and people already vehemently disagreeing with a position and opinion they haven’t heard yet.

Take a breath. Sit back. Listen and think. Then tell me what you think afterward. Otherwise your comment is pointless bc it isn’t a discussion at all.

  2. We need cinergy between weapons. Only two bullets for shotguns, and you can't get anymore from killed players… Unless… You pared your SG with a SMG, Sidearm, Fusion, or even another SG. This way you want to go with your SG for the whole match? Fine, but you're gonna filho only At close quarters. Snipers whole have their combinations too, and every other weapon. This players will have a very defined hole, CLOSE, MEDIUM, and long RANGE. Like every other shooter outthere.

  3. So basically what you are saying is go back to how D1 did shotguns. Where everyone still used matador, party crasher and other aggressive frame shotguns regardless of their handling. Everyone will always use the shotgun with the most kill range and consistency. Removing quickdraw will only serve as a nerf but everyone will still use felwinter's at the end of the day. On top of this perks like threat detector would become meta afterwards and we would be in the same position. While I do agree quickdraw on aggressive frames puts them in a league where you won't consider anything else, removing the perk won't do much in the long run. Just my opinion though.

  4. Give and take is usually the best response for removing perks. Take away QuickDraw on a shotgun…take away snapshot on a sniper. Same philosophy on your take about why QuickDraw should be removed. Two of the most used perks on two of the most used special weapons that can be used as a “crutch” or get me or anyone else out of a bad decision.

I don’t disagree with your points I’m just trying to not limit the removal of perks. Just like I believe icarus should be removed from the game. It’s the only go to option on most pvp players legendary weapon items. A “crutch” if you will to create “vertical” gameplay. How about move the perk to less popular subclasses as an incentive to use a less popular subclass with a below average super buuuuut icarus on all weapons that aren’t exotics. (Tether, Chaos Reach, Bubble Titan, well warlock) Give and take is the hardest thing to implement in this community unfortunately so while this discussion needs to be had…this game is not changing unless BUNGIE feels like it fits their objectives. Judging by stasis (never going to happy.)

  5. I usually enjoy your videos, but I am really confused that you would compare a shotgun to an smg. I have never seen a shotgun shoot as fast as an smg or have such a slow TTK. I guess I really just consider all smg your primary shooter i.e. Handcanon, scout and pulse and shotguns, fusions, snipers as secondary. Do some people use them as primaries yes, but that might be another conversation like taking away all scavenger perks to reduce such use. Can you maybe compare rocket launchers and grenades next since they might be an even bigger threat in PvP?

  6. I think people forgot about Dust Rock Blues. That thing didn’t have QuickDraw and that shit was the most meta thing in forsaken for a long time. QD was never the problem, if you get aped by a shotty, that’s your fault. I’ve never heard a complaint about QD until recently. TV mentioned Bakris and stasis while keeping your distance. Doesn’t that mean that’s a problem with stasis? Stasis has so many benefits but here all of you complaint about QD.

  7. Following opinion is biased:

I think to tone down shotguns there are multiple options, a range nerf especially for aggressive types, make them slower in handling and/or partially remove quickdraw like you said. Also its way to easy to get close up, hunters and titans mainly. So to not limit the subclass and remove the uniqueness of them, they have to nerf shotguns directly.

Also a bit off-topic, but why havent they changed some of the clearly imba stasis combos, mainly talking about the crystals/nade and shatter damage. The insane kill range off the ice wall combos is only because you get damage from every crystal that explodes, they should make that you only take damage from one exploding crystal, when they explode simultaneously.

  8. I don't agree with this. Shotgun are already bad against supers. Not even a point blank headshot (no vorpal) and a powered melee can kill most supers. The solution is simply to shot a few primary shots and switch to the shottie as late as possible to secure the kill. If they remove quickdraw, people will run vorpal on shotguns and simply not put it away ever during a match. This would then be a matador/partycrasher situation. No thanks. Secondly, Bungie didn't adjust fusion rifles. They annihilated them to the point where high impacts are the only viable choice yet again.

  9. Well the felwinter wouldn't be the only thing used if they didn't have sunsetting and 120s are godly. It just so happens it goes great with with the other best in class sturm/prophecy/steady hand.
Its not like all people are making their build around felwinters.

I get some people definitely are bcuz they are terrible at the game, but people using felwinters soooo much is bcuz of how good hc are in the primary slot. the, tlw thorn, 120s, 140s, and even the 180 is fun to use. I've never been a super fan of HC. I've always like pulse rifles more even back when tlw and thorn were dominant i was using hopscotch pilgrim… but hc honestly might feel the best they ever have imo.

Bungie is soooo exotic heavy in the hc department too. So the felwinters just absolutely fits the best atm. We had the same shit going on back when benders was the king. That shit had QD and SS……. talk about toxic…… it was the 1 and only…… thats also when snipers were by far the most friendly and would help you hit headshots when getting flinched….. I dont think people would hate the felwinters as much as they do if people didn't crutch it as much as they do. A huge huge majority only use shotguns or green ammo. The green ammo is the problem not the perks on weapons. If they toned down the ammo economy, felwinters wouldn't carry the hate it people have for it. Green ammo is broken and green ammo weapons are broken.

So if they hand hc that could compete with the primary hc other weapons would be used. If they changed the ammo economy and neutered the Silverbacks. The other weapons would be able to be used. I mean the way they force these metal on us with the sandbox updates if you dont use the 120s and felwinters you put yourself at a disadvantage. Yes you can do well with other weapons in regular crucible. But if you go into trials with a smg and scout, lol you're not gonna have the best time keeping up even if you have great teammates.
