For those of you guys that need Ascendant Shards once you get your Exotic Cipher:
Of course, we all know that the most basic way for farming Ascendant Shards would be from the likes of the Grandmaster / Master Nightfall, but we all know that not everybody is able to run those activities. For those of you that can't here's some alternatives:
– Complete the Pit of Heresy Dungeon and dismantle the final gear piece for Enhancement Prisms
– Run Strikes, Crucible, or Gambit with the "Core Harvest" Ghost Mod as at the ends of those activities, you have a chance for an Enhancement Prism
– Level up the Season Pass to 80, 85, & 94 (this nets you 3 Vaulted Exotics)
By getting Enhancement Prisms, you can actually cash in 10 of them, as well as some planetary materials (that you can get from Spider) to get an Ascendant Shard from the Gunsmith in the Tower!
Hope this helps for those of you that have a hard time getting Shards, and if there's any additional methods, feel free to leave them in the comments 🧡

For weapons that got vaulted like Izanagi's Burden and Bad Juju, are their Exotic Catalysts… just… gone forever? Bad Juju is one of my favorite weapons in Destiny but now I have to idea how to complete its catalyst without the Tribute Hall.
But I just bought beyond light what if I don’t wanna buy those old expansions
I have an exotic cipher and i couldn’t exchange it anywhere. Discarded it and got my xur quest cipher and still can’t use them. Why? It’s getting under my skin lol
I went to Xur to get the quest but he wasn't there did I do something wrong?
do i have to wait for him to come around again if i complete the quest but he's not there?
Can you use it without going to the monument in the tower bc i have one but don't have the ascended shard but it says to present it xur but how I'm at xur and nothing

Thx for the info. Came back to D2 since 2017 I never played any expansions only did some of the original raid and got weapons n gear from that then gave up cuz game wasn’t fun, now it feels a lot better with beyond light. I rly don’t know if it’s worth getting forsaken or shadowkeep tho.. seems like A LOT to take in after 2 1/2 years.. idk wut to do if I should get them or not :/
How do I unlock the option to purchase vualted weapons from rhool?
When you complete the quest do you need to go back to xur to get the cipher or it goes in you inventory when you complete the 21 points ?
Is there a possibility to get the Ruinous Effigy in beyond light??

I'm a returning player so the exotic cipher is great for me. What I'm struggling with is getting the exotic shards. I need about 60 enhancement cores just to buy one exotic shard! 😫
Can anyone help? I bought my exotic engrams but the quest for the exotic cipher doesn’t show up at all?
If i already completed the quest… well there still be a quest?? Or do I need to get one?? Im confuse cause its not on my quest anymore and it complete… but it let me pick extoic so what can i do wait every friday….
