I personally wouldn't use this loot cave for leveling up- but for farming Catalysts, I think there is value in this loot cave.
Might make this spot the spot for strike bounties, if I have to.
This has been a thing since they came out with the new light riskrunner quest
i see this as more useful for weapon bounties/cores

Wouldn't the area in the Dreaming City right before you enter the Blind Well be better for this? There's some ramp-up, but there's consistent enemy spawns and eventually they'll all be yellow bars. Like 20 at a time.
There's a spawn on the other side of the area that's exactly the same

not sure about the prime engrams because I got one right after getting one a few minutes before.
i was grinding a lost sector and took a while to get one but I eventually did, and then I load back into that lost sector right after getting it the first time and instantly get one.

The tangled shore(jet stream of Saturn)has some too I think. But it’s not as many enemies spawning. Hive comes out of large puddles of goo.
Then there is two loot caves in that area. Head towords the south building by spider drop

Why don’t you go hide in it, may be you’ll find that content vault in there and you can get your stuff back.

go play some left4dead and learn how to crouch in front line combat and how to keep your lanes clear. its called a FIRETEAM, key emphasis on the TEAM part, so dont fuck over your teammates and ultimately yourself by blocking your teammates from killing with you.
