  1. I was a huge destiny fan. It's and awesome open world Sci fi shooter. Just got tired of grinding for stuff that gets you no where. At the end of the day. Everyone wearing and using the same stuff. Playing this series for years got me fatigued. I don't care for seasons. It steals actual time out of your life to complete them. Seasons punish you for not playing. Just make a game and keep all content accessible.

  2. Last few dlcs were boring less every season has a raid for something to do and the past few seasons was just reskins or reused content to repeat the same stuff over and over

  3. I adore the Destiny story and lore, but like Briareos said. You spend way too much time to get no reward. I think I MAY get the standard edition+season just because it is the large DLC of the year, which is always fun for me, the rest of the year is worthless.
Imagine every 4 months, for $10 each time in Monster Hunter…. you get 1 monster and you need 15 mantles to make each part of the armor. HOWEVER, the first one, you spend $40 extra and get 4 other monsters and their armors just requiring some scales to make.

  4. Both shadow keep and Beyond Light together is $100. I could get another game like The Witcher 3 which is way more content. I don't how these business guys can… they're not squeezing the orange for the juice no more, rather they're trying to extract the very color out of it now I mean damn.
    "Just don't but it then…"
NO! We don't allow or put up with this business atrocity.

  5. @the balding plebs So… Do you gys ever actually BUY any of these collectors editions? And if you do, why don't you also do unboxings? Or do you just like to assign a value of how much you would theoretically spend if you wanted to buy it? I mean, obviously you won't buy every games CE, that would be insane… but surely there must be the occasional game that you do buy. So where are the unboxings… Perhaps compare your original perceived value during marketing phase with whether it is actually worth what you spent, looking at the quality, whether the marketing was deceptive, etc. If not, you should strongly consider doing this when you do get the occasional CE.

  6. I love destiny so much but there’s no way I’m spending all this money knowing every new expansion is another 35 usd or more they should just release a new game with no dlc ever and carry character progress we have over to the new game

  7. So, if I get the deluxe edition, and it says I’ll have access to season 12-15, does that mean I won’t have to pay again for “the witch queen” and “light fall” DLCs? Or are seasons just the battle pass and separate from DLCs?

  8. It all depends on if your willing to sit down and grind out a year worth of content. To be, i think its worth it because bungie (aside from season 11), bungie have been slacking on new content and when they introduce something like beyond light, i think it has alot of good potential and is 100% better then this years current expansion (shadowkeep). Bottom line is, is if you have the time and if your willing to see it through.

  9. Hello fellas i have been wanting to say this and more for a while now, What i do not get is how Bungie charges $69.99 for the full year 4 season good enough its fair, what i do not think is fair is now they they changed the DLC "campaign" to "Seasons" if you miss the season you are S.O.L.there is no way of going back and playing it because the season is over, for example: when destiny 2 released I bought the deluxe edition and it came with D2 "the red war", then "Curse of Osiris" and finaly "Warmind" after that yes "Forsaken" 1 dlc for 70.00 then seasons that i did not play and cannot play ever again but i did pay for them.
Second i would not call the season expansions or new stories its always the same thing grind same type of mission every week collect items turn them in, next season you do the exact same thing but with a different machine or are or whatever they come up with to continue taking $70.00 at least before even if the story was crap i can still go back and play it.
On top of that they are removing content that we paid for and "vaulting it" until further notice have they not made enough money to keep up with all the data.
Brandon Salisbury i read you comment i have not seen new DLC besides the new yearly DLC: Forsaken, Shadowkeep we are on season 11 let me know how you can go back and do some of the missions from season 10,9,8, etc. i know we all paid for them i did not get a chance to play them all and I never will be able to.
sorry for the long bitchy message you are all great and i thank you for all the input the destiny community puts out.
    thank you,
    Joe

  10. 70 dollars for shadowkeep 2.0 that will be removed from the game in 1 year.

Nah fam. Everyone should just stop playing this game. Bungie has basically proven they do not give a fuck.

  11. 5:47 It is a ripoff. Just because they are charging 10 dollars for something doesnt mean its worth 10 dollars lol

And no just because people pay for something doesnt mean that thing is worth that amount. It means that bungie has a monopoly on it and there is no competition to drive the price down.

  12. If you're fine with what they are offering and you believe Bungie will deliver the good with beyond light than but it. If you don't think the money is worth it than vote with your wallet and don't buy it. Stop bitching in the comment section of youtube videos and take actions using economics.

  13. I don't think beyond light or any other expansions will fix destiny 2 and its problems because destiny 2 is a really bad game and destiny 1 is way better!! Plus I don't like that destiny 2 has season passes when destiny 1 did not have season passes but I am okay with it having expansions!!
