In this video I show Mask of Bakris gameplay, a new exotic from Destiny 2 Beyond Light for the Hunter and give my first impressions & thoughts on it. This gives Hunters a blink abillity back, in exchange for the dodge. This is Destiny 2 Beyond Light Mask of Bakris Gameplay.

NOTE: I've been informed (as I haven't tested, this is a hands-on gameplay) that the arc buff currently doesn't work. Also, I was wrong and the dodge utility DOES work, for some reason it just changes the icon to marksman's dodge. Yes, I know its bladedancer, I auto piloted 😅 Thanks!!
I see that Hunters still remain as Bungie’s golden children of Destiny 2.
Still wish I could us it as a Void Hunter. I want to stealth with my teleports.
Damm. Was looking for a good PvE exotic to use with stasis, but doesn’t look like I’ll have one. I’ll prob try it out, but not much hope. For some reason assassin’s cowl doesn’t not work with stasis (finisher does, but powered melee kills do not), and there aren’t any good neutral PvE exotics I can think of aside from maaaaybe bombardiers that would work with stasis, not just be good (something like dragons shadow works, but it doesn’t add anything to stasis unlike how bombardiers for example could clear out enemies after an AoE freeze dodge whenever that aspect becomes available)

“Blink is back” except you cannot use it in the air (i.e. blink).
They gave this exotic WAY too many downsides for it to be competitive or an S tier exotic like Wormhusk or Stompees. Idk what Bungies problem is. I was so excited about this exotic because I was excited about using something other than Wormhusk but my husk is better so why would I use this? Same with Icefall Mantles. The downside is too big. It can't compete with Dunemarchers which are broken. We either need nerfs to are current meta exotics or we need these 2 buffed up. I really want new meta exotic armor pieces but its been so long since we've had new meta exotic armor that im starting to think that this is just it. We will likely use Dunemarchers, T steps and Stompees forever and that is oh so boring.

btw if you are using any ability or weapon which can recharge your dodge (Travelers Chosen, etc.) it doesn't recharge your class ability until the buff is over. You have to wait 🙂

I wouldn't say he got you mid teleport. Looks like he got you right at the tail end of your dodge.
So it is class locked and adds 10 seconds to the cooldown. It's nothing like I imagined, it's gonna be gathering dust in the vault for me.
Can't wait for people to REEEE about this until it gets nerfed lol
