Destiny 2 – Beyond Light Prep – EASY / PASSIVE EXOTIC FARM – UMBRAL ENGRAMS INTO EXOTICS
For this method to work, your Prismatic Recaster and Gifts of Light and Dark need to be upgraded. Specifically, you need Umbral Enhancement II – that will allow unfocused umbral engrams to decrypt into exotics.
Note – The chance is low; anywhere from 2-5%. Fortunately, umbral engrams drop like candy in this game.
I would recommend farming god roll weapons / armor first. By this point in the season, you likely have everything you want, however, and can safely leave them unfocused to farm exotics!

Low key this is how I got about 90% of my exotics lol
I'm still using the collections roll for Crown of Tempest. Can't get a new random rolled Crown to drop for the life of me. Spent the last 2 double rewards Ordeals on my warlock, got every exotic helmet except crown.
I'm almost season rank 200, I've gotten maybe 5 exotics from umbrals. The rate has to be something like 1 or 2%.

The easiest way I’ve gotten exotic engrams are from the haunted forest thing, I forgot what it’s called. So far 5 have dropped (mainly armor pieces). So if you don’t have an exotic, go farm.
I’ve gotten 5 from about 80 umbral engrams 👌🏽

Nightfalls is the way to go if you miss or want higher stats on a exotic. Reckoning altso have a decent rng and dungeons. If you dont have a team just do the first encounters again and again.
