  1. Testing my first couple rolls, I have to say that stability definitely, definitely pays dividends. One had polygonal and one with full bore (same grips) firing as fast as possible the stability absolutely is noticeable. I think I'm (strangely) looking at my stat perks as much as i am the big boy perks. I'm thinking smooth grip for the best grip (one of my rolls has QD, honestly, not super noticeable), and anything with stability and range/handling for your barrel perk in addition to a perk like killing wind, rangefinder, etc. Only thing catalyst and most of the other perks isn't giving you is stability. I'm on MnK btw.

  2. my favorite legendary hand cannon i own is my true prophecy with opening shot and demolitionist.

    Opening shot on hand cannons just makes me feel so much better when shooting them in pvp.

    Now hawkmoon can roll with opening shot…

    Killing wind, rangefinder, moving target, surplus… all of these are excellent…

    But i'll jump for joy if i manage one with my opening shot lmao.

    Nice having something to chase again 🙂

  3. Just me or could the increased mag size from the catalyst be a bit of a liability at times? It seems like a trade-off rather than a pure buff, at least in PVP. More chances to buff the final round yes, but it will also proc less often in intense fights. Essentially, if you won a firefight before the catalyst because the perk triggered on shot number 8, you'd now lose that same firefight after applying the catalyst. You might win a different fight you'd have lost before, but it definitely seems like a trade-off. It's like taking Suros Regime and increasing the mag size while also increasing how much time it takes the Spinning Up perk to kick in: you might get more total shots at the higher fire rate, but you have to wait longer for it to activate. So, it feels more like a give-take balance adjustment than a pure buff.

    I would have preferred it if instead it did something like 'Reloading after a precision kill or precision hit with the Paracausal Shot grants a stack of Paracausal Charge' or something like that, to increase the potential damage output without delaying the perk's activation. Snagging a kill or hit with the buffed shot would give you a small head start on the next one.

  4. theres a quick draw giltch where you can save the final damage bullet, you have to have two quickdrall weapons(quickdraw hawk moon), If you can quick hawk moon, within .5 secs between when the buff is active, aka going from bullet one to two, the buff somehow remains active I used this in gambit. out of the 37 times I tested it it only worked three, so itz random as fuck but it can happen.(edit) it happened so little times I might be seeing shit

  5. so tthe mag doesnt change i see but the barrel does hammerforged give you base 66 range but yes the caty perk, if we want to call it anything, is like a mini killing wind per stack so pairing that with KW sounds pretty good. BUT im about cone consistency (blame drewsky) and rangefinder will probably be it…has anyone checked if the grip changes per roll? it should right? just more food for thought when see what the best GR version is. still hoping for rangefinder on my first one, look forward to your testing

  6. While this is an interesting way to do things for Hawkmoon. I really hope the random rolls thing on exotic weapons is a one off. Not looking forward to future potential exotics where they might have undesired perks in the pool. Who knows anymore with Bungo.
