Who thought that ppl would really get excited over a random roll exotic? These mf are psychotic on this shit. Granted the quest was fun but only because it was something different.
Got one with Corkscrew Rifling, Killing Wind and Smooth Grip and another with Polygonal Rifling, Quickdraw and Combat Grip.
I got fluted barrel killing wind and textured grip my first run
Tip:Start this week on the ship quest and the grind, since there are only 2-3 weeks left in the season, you can get at least 6-8 rolls on Hawkmoon as this mission may be a season mission and not carry on.
PSA: MyFi did a nice video talking about the thrall room in shattered throne. I stared at the Shuro Chi encounter, but ended up switching to the thrall room. After I got the checkpoint, progress felt like it picked up drastically.
Bungie, please why can't you add every roll we get into one roll. Just put a drop down box for the perks, every time you get a roll, that perk is added to your original roll. This way we don't stretch our already bulging vaults beyond its limits with multiple copies.

Why can controllers players "never go wrong with moving target"? The AA buff it gives applies the same way to MnK. Also this weapon has 93 AA and with a targeting mod you're at 100. So in fact you can go wrong with Moving Target, on Hawkmoon. Basically worthless.
By only being able to farm it once per character per week, does that mean the Hawkmoon rewards are locked out, or the mission itself, since it's selectable after the first completion?

the catalyst lowers dps bc the extra shot doesnt give any extra stacks and is worthless in pve, so its dps goes down

You can actually farm for Hawkmoon if you don’t pick up the quest from crow. I have 16 different random rolls from my 16 runs on my hunter😁
After some light testing, on mnk, I think stability is absolutely not to be overlooked as a stat to focus. My full bore vs polygonal (same grip, the recoil one RIP), polygonal was almost laser-like firing full speed, full bore jumped some (still mostly vertical). Quickdraw feels like overkill where you could have something else. Looking for a smooth grip w/ polygonal/corkscrew/smallbore and undecided on the secondary perk
You can use transverse steps to reload hawkmoon and not remove the buff
Best way to get any catalyst is at the shattered throne after the ogre jumping puzzle. Unlimited Thralls 😀
My first drop was a hammerforged rifling/opening shot and yes the final shot is quite nasty
