In this video I talk about the Frozen Orbit, and how it has gotten me back to loving sniping again. I go over the God Roll Frozen Orbit, as well as its stats & other reasons why I’m enjoying using the new sniper in Destiny 2 Beyond Light Season of the Chosen Crucible.

I still haven't earned the God Roll Frozen Orbit, but I'm still in love with it… Frozen Orbit has gotten me to relapse, and I'm back to sniping. Let me know the rolls you've earned
Also hope you enjoyed the cones
When you started talking about the drop rate & the perk pool nearly every fiber in my being shouted with agreement!!!! Also, I’m one of those people who hasn’t gotten one to drop with Snapshot OR Quickdraw yet…
Imo quickdraw is better than snapshot on 72 rpms
Mine landed with Vorpal Weapon and Surplus. It’s alright when all abilities are charged up, but feels slow as hell otherwise. At least I can put down a Behemoth Titan in their super now though 😂
I got extremely lucky last week during IB. I played probably 8-10 games in a row and walked away with 6 of them. Only one worth keeping had snapshot, auto loading, fluted barrel, handling masterwork and flared mag well. I can’t complain. Need to play with it more @DrewskysChannel
cleaning up with an opening shot crimils dagger is insane
I got a single drop at this point and it's Surplus/Vorpal.
Feels good to use nontheless.
I have a QuickDraw surplus feels like it is snapshot QuickDraw plus everything else that comes with surplus
I have one, firmly planted, QuickDraw, accurized rounds, forgot the barrel* with a handling masterwork. This roll feels amazing.
Y’all drop rates are really low. Frozen orbit has probably been the most common drop out of all the new weapons. I’ve gotten 1 bottom dollar with killing with rampage that’s the only drop. With frozen orbit I’ll be lucky if I can’t get one to drop if I play 5 crucible matches.
One of last things I did on console destiny was start sniping and I was getting pretty good at it. But something about sniping in destiny 2 on PC really doesn't click with me. Especially with the extreme flinch from 120's and aim assist nerfs to sniper's they feel really hard to use. I feel like I click on people heads and nothing happens. It's just generally frustrating so I end up throwing a shotgun back on
what do you think when combining it with dragon shadow?
I think you can test out the scope theory using the Long Shadow sniper since it can roll different scopes. Personally I feel that high zoom scope on the gun makes it feel more consistent.
Rolls of the Frozen Orbit I got:
– QD Auto-Loading (most used)
– QD Moving Target
– QD Killing Wind
– 2x Snapshot Ambitious Assassin
– Wellspring Surplus
– Firmly Planted Kill Clip
Got them playing for like 2 weeks or so
I'm not a sniper player at all, but I got a quickdraw/opening shot Far Future and I really like it a lot. I like the model, I like the scope and I like the sound. Been having a lot of fun with it. Feels nice.
I don't understand how Destiny players are so bad at video games that they are comfortable with publicly admitting to thousands of players that they quit sniping because of an aim assist nerf, then picked it back up when a new rifle has insane aim assist. And paint it as a positive event
Thankful for my 4 drops. Best ones are surplus/box breathing & killing wind/snapshot.
I have 3. Best (using ‘best’ relatively because it is not best) has no distractions and snapshot. Barrel and MW are bad. I like snapshot. Don’t know if it is the zoom or new flinch but I seem to body a lot. The unobtrusive model is good but I am not so competent with it yet.
I have one that has insane range with Quickdraw and snapshot. It's the only sniper I use in PvP.
Why doesn’t pvp have an umbral system. Dumb Bungo.
my first drop was no distraction and snapshot, my second drop was surplus and box breathing.
Why do you think drop rates are increasing? Cheers
Bungie just nees to buff the drop rates on these weapons a bit or make it like the Gambit prime weapons back when 4 matches guranteed a drop.
