We know the game director is going to change up a lot when Beyond Light Launches on Nov 10th (which is a nice double down they are still solid on that date). 4 Planets are leaving along with leviathan and many strikes, missions, exotic quests and more are going with them. We got a lot of clarifications on that from Bungie today. It doesn’t answer everything, but its the most DCV (Destiny Content Vault) info we have had yet.

If you enjoyed the video, likes are appreciated. Other than that, good luck out there and have fun.

  1. How are other games as a service able to keep all their existing content yet a massive studio like Bungie is willing to remove half the game its players paid for… Removing 5 planets and basically giving us one and a starting area back is horrible.

I don't care how hardcore you are, I dont care how little you use those planets that are leaving. Old content should not be deleted. They should figure out how to reduce the size of D2 without erasing stuff.

  4. I just got back into the game about three weeks ago after not really playing it since launch when I beat red war campaign so I'm just now unlocking stuff like the menagerie, reckoning and things like, should I even bother finishing off the quests? And what should I do with all the weapons and armour that are being sunset?

  5. If these changes mean that Bungie will make better content for us I'm happy they're doing this… I'm only sad that they are taking out content that I have paid for, reintroducing it again and having to pay again for it :/
I really hope they size down the game file too lol it's becoming a cod game almost on the 3 digits of Ggs XD
Thank you for the very informative video!

  6. I really just want to know if I need to spend all these planet resources or not. Yesterday Spider wanted alkane dust for shards and I was just like, screw it, and bought like a thousand. So. Much. Button mash.

  7. So what do we do with our planetary materials from these planets that are going away? Great explanation E, I can’t be bothered to read through the whole twab. I look to you to break it down 👍🏾👍🏾

  8. I’d like to get Ratking but haven’t a clue how I’d go about getting it, like several other gun quest things but there are NO. Clear instructions on how to get started on these things. Really pisses me off Bungie.
Why can’t they give us a list to pick from???

  10. I am a huge destiny fan . I played D2 the second it was online to play . With that being said , they shitted on this game since day 1. Characters looked worse than the previous game. Was a basic game nothing special . Fast forward to 3 or 4 dlc later and systems have been added and removed or changed multiple times . Season content so it’s changing the game constantly ( for better or worse ) with some new bullshit to dump time into while they prep the next shitty ass dlc. Now they are taking content out lol honestly fuck bungee . I have dumped over 200 into a game which is now FTP . Destiny 2 is just not destiny.

  11. I hate gambit prime. I do not like the mechanics of it. I like regular gambit. They are completely removing regular gambit, keeping gambit prime. I do not like the bank mechanic of gambit prime, nor the fact the boss is constantly shielded. I don't like having to move to a different area continuously and fight the witches to get rid of the blasted shield. They should have got rid of gambit prime.

  12. For anyone on XB1 that still needs to collect the Outbreak Perfected from Zero Hour, it's catalyst, picking up the ship, or picking up the speed-run's triumph and emblem, feel free to hit me up at:

    XB1: DudeSerius
    Discord: DudeSerius#5435

I can't help with the part that unlocks the mission (hunting down items in lost sectors) because i can't even see the things anymore… but once you have access to Zero Hour, regular or heroic, hit me up and i'd be glad to run you and friend(s) through it.

The first 2 weeks after it came out, i spent some 50+ hours in the regular and heroic mission:
    – running solo
    – running friends
    – hanging out at the farm and running random PUGs
    – and picking up randoms from YouTube that saw my comments and messaged me on xbox

i did both regular Zero Hour AND Heroic, i have used an app to make the puzzle section quick and easy, and at one time had all 3 of the lava floors memorized to the point of literally closing my eyes and running across the plates. As the warlock, i was always fastest, so people tended to show up to roomba's/TR3V0R's room just as i finished the last 1 or 2 switches during regular runs and speed runs they sometimes had to redo roomba switches because i was already at the boss encounter.

I can help teach you and friend(s) how to do the mission, some of the best ways to speed up certain sections, easy/fun weapon loadouts, gear suggestions, subclass/tree suggestions, etc… and I've even done a few full-on-carries in the regular mode for a few parties. I'm only saying this because I truly enjoyed running this mission and helping others, especially the teaching part, so if you're interested and haven't completed it yet, hit me up so I can schedule you in before my game-time calendar fills up.

    Cheers and happy hunting / nova-bombing / titan-smashing,
    DudeSerius

  13. One topic the TWAB didn't cover are the lore collectibles you can find on the departing destinations. Dead ghosts and lore pieces are on Titan, Io, Mercury, Mars, and the Leviathan. You need these to complete The Awoken of the Reef book, The Forsaken Prince book, the Ghost Stories book, and the Confessions book.

Edit) I forgot about the urns on the Derelict/Reckoning for the Dust lore book.

  14. I'd rather have a 300Gb download and keep everything it place, but yet again bungie is ignoring us, especially those who are 1000% F2P will everything be vaulted anyway even if you dont have the Beyond the Light DLC, if everything does get DCV even if you dont own Beyond the Light DLC, Destiny2 will die fasters than D1
