  1. I just need to get the "Secret Victories" emblem so I can get Wayfarer. I hate ascendant challenges so I've been doing Blind Well and after two weeks of that daily, I hate Blind Well…

  2. I’ve been using this down time to play other game like ghost of Tsushima, final fantasy 15 and 7 remake. Also the psn store is amazing deals going on now so picking up some games discounted is really easy right now. If I’m not seal hunting I’m on other games

  3. The only people who want sunsetting are the people who do not care about the quality of the game and actually only care about a more ravenous grind. Getting rid of good guns will absolutely not enhance the quality of future good guns, it just makes future good guns more necessary and have less points of comparison.

For example, if Bungie already thinks no gun should be better than Mountaintop in current content, they wont suddenly make something better than Mountaintop when Mountaintop is gone –because– its the –content– they want to keep intact. The content is the design ceiling, not just the other guns surrounding it.

  4. "What Is Left to Do before Beyond Light ?"
The popular games of the moment, of course ! Fall Guys, Among Us, Breast of the Wild and stuff.

(Didn't play any of these yet to be honest)

  5. I stopped playing cause they made the nightfall the only place to get upgrade materials, they just make it harder and harder to upgrade and I just have not interest in that so then I don’t have any interest in getting gear cause I can’t upgrade, so why play! This year has been by far the least I have played and I was a no lifer, have played maybe 30-40 hours since Christmas, I logged recently to, get the new exotic and the game is exactly the same!

  6. How can you say you "were right" about sunsetting being a problem when it hasnt even happened yet. Videogame news sites making dramatic articles about it is just regular destiny coverage fair. We've had tons of "this thing is bad for destiny" articles (specially from Forbes…) and it never killed the community numbers. Small bubble.

  7. And if you’re trying to run raids and don’t have much experience, good luck with Discord LFG. Never ran prestige leviathan in all the years of D2, and now every group on LFG is kwtd, 5+ clears, 10+ clears, etc. And Spire is even worse, I only ever ran the normal of that once, so Prestige runs won’t even respond to my requests to join. I’ve just about accepted that I won’t be getting those catalysts until they’re reintroduced in a year.

  8. Hey FTC… what are your thoughts on the size of Beyond light? We’ve seen little confirmation on the size of the expansion. Considering all we’re losing next season, and how much of next year is rehashed D1 content, the cost of the next expansion and coming seasons seems a little steep. I have a hard time believing the “new” content coming this year will exceed a Shadowkeep type expansion and be more in the realm of a TTK/Foresaken type expansion that the game needs. So putting the question to you guys to see if you have thoughts on what we should expect.

I’ve got over 2,000hrs in D2 alone, so hard played a ton of this game, but am genuinely struggling hard as to whether to stick with the franchise.

  9. My starting loadout is gonna be my gnawing hunger, witherhoard, and guillotine. Barring some huge shift in the PvE sandbox, it's just the best thing for almost any situation (I'm hoping for a RL buff so I can find use for my god roll Bad Omens).

  10. I don't like the idea sunsetting, but as usual, I'm "cautiously optimistic." Using the word 'waste of time' is harsh, but it's not wrong either. Grinding for guns? It's not necessarily fun doing it, but when you achieve it… it somehow feels like an accomplishment in game. Making guns (we will grind for) have a life-cycle is playing with fire. I'm curious how it will work. Bungie has me, I'm going anywhere regardless of what they do… I think they know that, which is a whole other problem.

  11. Destin, I agree with you and wish they would provide further clarification on transmog. I have numerous items in my vault that are sitting there for potential infusion…. I really wish they would provide some clarity here so that I could clean out my vault.

  12. Honestly at this point. Destiny 2 is completely pointless.
Like, going from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2 is basically the franchise "sun-setting" earlier content anyway right?

They made you pay for a sequel, which will (after europa) offer less content than Destiny 1 had by the end of its life span. Not only that, they are making you PAY for this. If you look, from an outsiders perspective- that gun or armor piece you have been grinding for- IS completely pointless. Because there is absolutely no guarantee it wont be "sun-setted" come next expansion. Not only that- the entire light leveling system is undoubtably designed to keep you chasing that carrot. Its an endless progression system that only ends in three ways,- reset's, wipes or new content is added that is slightly better than current items- making your previous loot no longer viable- you MUST keep current with the games current max cap's in order to stay relevant… Its an aggressive, vicious cycle of addiction and you see it more than anywhere else in the faces and tones of people who play it- look at how burnt out they become in an effort to keep up and stay ahead of their friends lists… more so when you say things negative about the game while it limps towards its 7th year…. and how toxic the community get when you call it out for slowing down…

Let the franchise die. If you buy the next expansion- you are essentially OK-ing Bungie to pull this same content wipe again a year from now. No one learned when they cut destiny 1 and made destiny 2, no one seemed to notice… If not now, hopefully when they are replacing Europa content with whatever they try and sell next- maybe then the fanbase will wake up?

  13. There was random rolls for Wearwolf last year guys lol. How did you not know that. Now that absolutely fucking sucked and the curated one was the best(still not great) but there was random rolls.

  14. HAvent played destiny 2 since i got lunas howl around a month ago. Truth be told, for a solo player there isnt really much to do. Tried LFGs no help at all. I am also tired of boring loot drops and cosmetics being locked behind eververse. Also, with stuff going whats the point in really starting stuff? and also im tired of recycled stuff… haunted forest for the third year in a row… come on now! Plus the setting is straight up BS and a ploy to extend the game to get the same shit time in time out
