That said, the fact this excludes most of the player base is really poor – given the year it's been not many who wanted to have had the funds to spend on the collectors edition.

Bloody love ARG's, it's so fun/interesting I don't even care if we don't get anything lol. Hopefully this gives some more lore to do with the newish Clovis bray lost journal because he is such a good villain (and that lore and story is amazing, as well as the puzzles in it that we've been piecing together for a while now. Which is probably why you need the collectors addition as it's something that could maybe? possibly link to it), possibly one of the best in destiny, he's totally unhinged. Also a lot of the discussions on this is going on over on r/raidsecrets

Was looking forward to the idea of an ARG because Bungie go all out on these puzzles.
Hate that it's behind a pay wall. Not everyone can afford to get the super collectors edition. It locks out so many players who are interested and praises those with bigger disposable incomes.
Its a really shitty move by Bungie.
A little disappointing that this is all locked behind a $ 199.99 paywall. Let's hope it leads to something cool at least
