  1. Really man? We all know Bungie is just using this game as a paid beta. I mean it's been going on since the beginning of destiny 2. D1 was the best and rise of iron was the greatest. After that it was all down hill.

  2. Artifact mods were confirmed a long time ago to be Bungie experiments with player fun factor.

If we liked it enough, it could be tuned up or down and turned into a perk. It's actually incredibly smart on their part. Bungie has a crazy habit of noticing what players do the most, and building on it somehow. Halo was a great example of that, as many people firmly believe Halo Reach was a testing bed for abilities by using armor lock. Jetpacks, evade, sprint, armor lock, and even active camo all made it into Destiny in some fashion.

If you look closely through Bungie history, you'll start noticing that pattern ALOT. I just really wish they'd pick up on the love for Firefight and Forge again ☹️

  3. It was always intended to be like this. Artifact mods/perks are meant to be used for a season and if it meshes well with the game and community then they will add it in to the game. Back when they first outlined the artifact and it's purpose. Why isn't the fusion mod or so and so mod in the game when they were so good? Because it upsets the balance of the game and the toxic gatekeepers who don't want their fun ruined will be the loudest. Not everyone has the same idea and sometimes it will just be what it will be and you have to live with that and those who don't accept that reality will be huffing on copium forever stuck in the past.
