Destiny 2’s Beyond Light expansion is here and it’s pretty much all I’ve been playing the last 36 hours. I have beaten the campaign twice over, am deep into post-story content and have a lot of early thoughts about Stasis, Europa and more.

  1. I liked destiny when it came out and put in a lot of hours, played a couple expansions or so and just grew tired of it. But maybe with this new destiny expansion or w.e it’s technically considered, things will freshen up a bit

  2. As always I really like the story. The atmosphere, music, environments, etc. I honestly don’t care how stasis performs in or affects PvP because I have never cared about that or taken it seriously. It feels like it has never once been balanced, ever. I only enter it for the sake of leveling early in a season and when a quest requires me too anyway. Stasis is fun but not my favorite. Yet, anyway. It’ll be fun to discover all the ways to modify the subclass. I can’t wait to see if/how they implement that system for the previous classes.

  3. Did yall know there is only 1 void hand cannon that can be infused ……. man I agreed with sunsetting ……but….. I was wrong they did exactly what everyone said they would ….. the loot model has not improved the story was short and not worth much annnnnnnd no weapons that are new drop in the loot pool.

  4. In regards to Salvations grip being the only stasis damage type, I was hoping bungie would change the Coldheart to a stasis weapon as it has perks that would make more sense in stasis than arc.

  5. He says he know but i dunno how he can hardly def it. Half of it gone and it cost u more money and that doesnt even bring it back.
I would pay USD 50 for new content and my gun back. Take my money but bungie wont listen.
    1) SBMM removed -wont listen 14% below avg player had left
    2) Gun and gear sunset – Nobody ask to do it wont listen 25% player left
    3) half of the world removed – Who requested it? wont listen another 25% gone
My clan alsmot 50% have left. Money for lesser content Destiny 2 compare to genshin free for more content.
Looks like Bungie is setting new trend.
Next year remove tangle shore and dreaming city and add 1 planet – Bungie they have accept the new trend PROCEED.

  6. You say your positive about beyond light then don’t name a single thing that you really like… I have said this before if they can’t make anything the size of forsaken this game will die.

  7. Sunsetting is wack. They might as well put the Moon, and Forsaken content in the vault too. The reason to do Moon content is solely for the title. 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

It was obvious that the weapons would be useless even in playlist strikes. We know how they do with the power level raises.
