  1. Tried my absolute best to include every single detail of the raid without making the video very long, let me know if it helps you out and I hope you enjoy! <3

  2. This has to be one of the best guides I've seen and matches up really well with what we discerned while playing it.

A trick for the scanner that applies almost to every encounter is to be fast and do your job BEFORE there a timer as peeps need all the time they can get.

First true encounter, scan your room, pass scanner to other room (almost always had scanner add slow up in purple room, so purple room scanner (aka left room) quickly scans the panels through glass, passes to blue room. Blue room (right room) scanner scans and learns their two yellow panels and then calls out ALL 4 OF THE PANELS, then prepares to send down scanner. The operator will go down NOW, melee or high dps the 4 panels and calls out "depositing operator", have left room immediately pick up and call it out, right room scanner deposits scanner and calls it out as they do it (takes 1.5 seconds), then prepare for dps. Downstairs Guardian picks up scanner, shouts out the target, then either that room DPS's it Or, if you are fast enough, all 5 dps it. If fat enough and lucky enough, you can pull a 1 phase, but 2 phases is super easy. And we had only 2 Mendes at 1230+, one shy at 1225, and the other 2 were on the 1210s. High impact snipers for primary, energy arc weapons, and either swords (one per side) or heavy projectile weapons (for other 3 guardians upstairs).

Operator should run melee range weapons, like shotties, Sidearms, swords, and high dps SMGs (HCs are fine if you can 1 tap to the head on red bars regularly).

Try to keep the scanner the same for left and same for right rooms, and have dedicated operator. If you keep the same operator, one scanner can play backup operator for missions where operator buff has cool down. The best communicating scanner should be right room and should be the dedicated scanner throughout the raid.

If during an encounter (boss or encounters 2 or 3) the scanner refuses to work when equipped, quickly deposit it and then pick it back up a few seconds later. (during boss encounter, I would grab, quickly jump up and yell out the 4 trash receptacles for the nuclear reactors, then deposit JUST BEFORE boss was available for his hovercraft fans to be shot, then pick it back up as soon as the red balls drop.

Don't pick up the reactors or operator buff or the other buff (blue buff) when carrying your scanner bkus it will glitch the scanner buff. Also we never got a second scanner enemy to show up after first phase so keep track of your scanner. Scanner can be worked by the lowest light level player with ease if they know how to keep moving.

Let the secondary/backup scanner from left room (first encounter) rotate operator buff with dedicated operator, and have someone run alongside each reactor mailman (but outside the purple stasis-y sphere to pick up if there's trouble, or to swap out with a dead mailman, or if it drops in people sphere because it wasn't popped fast enough. Cuts down on time spent with radiation poisoning, too, because the Cooldown for that is crazy.

After first phase, bits will sometimes hover over a dedicated area (spawn, blue, or orange/red). To get him off, everyone in that area should aggro him and Hightstown it away, before continuing lest he stomp y'all or swat you away like flies. And if he picks blue area and refuses to leave, wipe is faster than waiting because scanner ALWAYS spawns after the void shielded captain dies in blue area (spawn is 6 o'lock, blue is roughly 9 o'clock, and red/orange is roughly 12 o'clock on the map.

We tried counting 1-6 going clockwise from spawn (crash point) but it gets heated if peeps don't think in numbers, so we designated spawn left (#1) & spawn right (#2), blue left (#3) & blue right (#4), and finally, red left (#5) & red right (#6) for deposit points.

Have great long range weapons in primary (or energy if need be) like snipers or high dps scouts, then a decent shorter range easy weapon (HC [hand Cannon], smg, SA [side arm], faster PR [pulse rifle], shotty, or FR [fusion rifle]) and your strongest heavy (we had one sword per area, then either rocket launchers, 'nade launchers, or LFRs [linear fusion rifles] for boss dps, for quick KO on captains, and for dropping the reactors from boss.

Lastly, we nicknamed boss man King Koopa or Bowser because boss sounds like balls, which has to do with operator and blue man (shield cracker) jobs, and kept confusing teammates when they'd come in fresh or when trying to teach it.

Situational awareness is key, esp for scanner, operator, and shield-breaker, and scanners need to have great memory, be good communicators, and be able to know where they are on the map without having to look around (maintain directional awareness at all times) so they can help orchestrate the shield breaker, the operator, and the mailmen/mailwomen transporting reactors. Operator should be dependable, great listener, quick on their feet, capable as backup and good at planning. Directional and situational awareness goes without saying. Shield-breaker should be able to act quickly, listen well, lookout for purple Stasis bubble/sphere, stay alive, and hit targets from far away on a dime. Mailmen should be resilient, listen well, communicate in least words possible their situ BEFORE its too late, not shout or panic, think and move fast, and work in tandem with their fellow mailman And their partner when running. Try to zigzag when running to avoid crossfire, and the spare rubber should clear adds like a seasoned pro, keeping quiet too cut chatter down to minimum, while knowing they will have to act on a dime to pick up a fallen reactor or ask for scanner to help with the other mailman should trouble hit. Make sure scanner hangs around a buff deposit box during running step just incase they have to step up to pick up a fallen reactor, shield-breaker (suppressor), or support runner while sitting at shrugging that gets in the way of a mailman.

Best of luck everyone! And while this is a lot of info, each person can focus on their sole job and treat only into that until they learn it, then read the rest to be aware of how much work everyone else is doing.

This raid isn't very difficult mechanic wise, but heavies and bosses hit like a truck with rockets or keys propelling then faster than normal. The raid DOES rely GREATLY on communication, though, and at least for now, everyone has a job and must perform their best without throwing down excuses or complaining about other jobs/players until they've tried all the roles themselves. You don't need to have everyone be super owl, nor do you need exotics (though they do help). With 2 high powered guardians, the rest can do their jobs and everyone succeed, but high petted guardians need to split up at an times to help with dps and survivability.

  3. Odd.
    I watched kakis's 45 min raid guide ….
    Then watched this.
I felt like I understood exactly what to do after watching this video.
After Kakhis video… I was still confused .
I really think he rushes out those guides immediately after defeating it on day one when i dont even think he fully understands all the mechanics… it's more about him having the first guide to get the views.
Great job on cutting the fat and getting to the meat of what you need to know for all encounters.
    Really great job here.
I'm going to have to wait till next weekend to get at the raid.
Seems like they drag out a lot of damage phases .
And how would you rank the raid against all the other raids ?
