After the Destiny 2 update 3.0.0.1 that came with Beyond Light, sniping has felt really weird in pvp. That’s because aim assist on snipers has been entirely removed. Not only this, but other weapons seem to have had a secret buff to aim assist as well. I believe your just talking about bullet magnetism I think bungie messed up and removed it from snipers your video was very enlightening but the term aim assist is quite broad the way I was taught was back since D1 where reticle sticks to target
