Beyond Light Prep Guide – MOD COMPONENTS – Destiny 2 Guides

With Beyond Light coming out soon, I wanted to focus on a series of videos centered on getting ready for the new season. Covering topics ranging from materials accumulation, load out optimization, and other key areas. In this video, the focus is on mod components!

Mod components are a key resource because they currently allow players to acquire some amazing mods. Vendors like Banshee, the drifter (prismatic recaster) and ADA-1 all offer unique mods that require mod components to purchase. While banshee does have daily bounties that reward mod components, there are other ways to obtain these critical resources.

I hope this video was helpful! Thank you so much for watching.

  1. What I like to do is get all the daily bounties from banshee and go to the leviathan raid, skip the beginning enemies and go all the way to the big room and step on the plate so infinite enemies spawn, then grind away until all 4 are done

  2. Good video, I'm not sure what you plan on doing next, I would recommend bounties, especially since this is better to start early. This season more than ever, there are a TON of weekly bounties, pretty easy to get 50 weekly bounties stacked up over the course of a month.

  4. I prefer buying them from Ada. They cost 25 gunsmith material and 3 legendary shards. Since the game loves to give me shit loads of blue, even when doing high level nightfall, I have shit loads of gunsmith materials, so this is easier method for me.

  5. We need to be able to delete mod components. I have stacks and stacks and they are taking up space in inventory. It takes 4 seconds to delete one and the stacks hold a thousand. As of right now I can only delete one at a time. It would take over an hour to delete one stack. Anyone have a solution?
