  1. not saying you're wrong but personally i like the lore and the story of europa i mean yeah it doesnt really seem like and expansion story seems more like they could have worked it into a season but hey man i think the gameplay is fun and the story is entertaining enough. i follow the dollar per hour rule when it comes to games so did i get over 30 hours of entertainment out of europa yeah for sure so i dont really see the problem its their story if they wanna butcher it they can dont like it make your own story. when you work for a big company like this you have to make a story that appeals to the masses not just a few people they are here to make money and guess what they are.

  2. I'd like to mention that content being removed is directly related to the space this game takes up. That much is obvious and everyone knows that already. I can't give an exact number on the space it took up but we all know how big it was (certainly not as big as Call of Duty Warzone). Even though the game was about 100 GBs from what I remember, that accounts for compression of the game files. In reality when working on the game the magnitude of files and space taken in the game is much much larger when developing the game rather than just playing the game.
That doesn't excuse what they did however, hell you even mention that Warzone is much larger and yet they still continue to develop the game.
Developers can continue to maintain and work with developing a game regardless of the size of the game- up to a certain point obviously -given that the developers have the commitment to work with the game, however, Bungie seems to only be able to commit to pissing off and not listening to the community.

This is the first video I have seen from you and I not only appreciate your take on the current state of Destiny but also loved the entire video. I have been a fan of this series since the very beginning, I was there in the Destiny 1 Alpha. I have played every aspect of this game from every single raid to spending my share of time in PvP. Personally I still love the raids, every single one has been a great experience for me from the original Vault of Glass to this year's Deep Stone Crypt, yes even Eater of Worlds was enjoyable, certainly not as much as King's Fall or Last Wish but I still loved it for what it was.
I love the lore behind everything hell I also have the grimoire anthology books and have been looking into the lore for years now. I love so much about this game that I literally do raids not for the gear but for the sheer fun it provides as I feel there is no other game that has replicated what Destiny has done with it's raids.

I have been part of this game for 7 years now and even though I have grown a bitter sense of apathy for what Bungie does as they have shat in my open mouth time and time again, I still love this game. I guess I'm just in denial of a game I love so much and have been part of for 7 years has been on a slow downward spiral as I watch the very game I spent thousands of hours on burn to the ground.

I have my own thoughts on what has happened in Destiny recently but I won't talk about those here as I don't wish to spark contraversy. I merely wish to speak of my love for this game, the tragic decline it has been on recently, and my appreciation for your opinion on this topic.
I just wanted to talk about my feelings on this game since I know there are other people like me who have been here from the beginning, loved so much of it, and feel nothing but heartbreak from all the stuff happening recently. I want to just serve as a fellow gaurdian to those people and delight in what this game delivers, and criticizes what it fails in out of love.
    That's all…

  3. Wow I skipped this expansion after over thousands of hours of D1 and D2. The expansion seems like a scam, it should be a 20 dollar DLC max.
I just found out the season pass is extra too, lol OK.
I grinned so hard to get Lunas howl as a solo comp player, and now you can just buy it at a kiosk??
    What a fall from grace

  4. dude you could buy destiny 1 with all expansions for the same cost as beyond light deluxe edition on the ps4 and have years of content i bought that game in like 2015 and i didnt stop playing till like ealy 2020 because thats how much content there was. i only stopped playing destiny 1 because i had it on ps3 and i got a ps4 in 2020 so that means i didnt even have all the expansions .I only had up to taken king and it sucks because we put the ps3 in my sisters room and they ruined so now my ps3 refuses to run a CD and i still had like 10 quest to do meaning i didnt even finish the game i would've had a whole new dlc to do even after that. like seriously go play destiny 1 if possible and you can see just how far this game has fallen

  5. I have a found new group of Guardians to play with and it's shocked me how many activities they simply cannot do anymore because of content vaulting, there's pretty much only PvP and strikes, the new player experience must be underwhelming and incredibly boring. Bungie really messed up there for everyone.

  6. I’m not a great pvp player. Worked my ass off, sunk hours into this game to get my recluse, only to find out less than a year later that it would be rendered completely useless. That’s when I quit the game.

  7. They could just give is few toys to play with and we would be fine for content removal. But no! They just say "we must remove some stuff cuz we can suport the game then", then give us some free cool stuff as compensation for the money we put into D2 and not just take all away

  8. Destiny hasn’t been destiny for a very long time… Year 3 of D1 beats everything D2 has squirted out. They played it safe and paid the price… with that said the game is still pretty fun tho :^)

  9. i stopped playing warframe to give d2 a shot, needless to say im back on Warframe. thank you for keeping me informed about this dumpster fire.
im just baffled how you gonna fuck it up so badly when the warframe devs were willing to help ya out

  10. As a D1 veteran since the game launched… this is nothing, literally nothing. This is the same exact cycle that started with D1 that ended with Rise Of Iron and restarted with D2. I knew I was in for a ride when D1 launched with promotion for a DLC THAT HAD MOST OF THE CONTENT ALREADY ON THE DISC THAT YOU COULD LITERALLY GLITCH YOURSELF INTO ! As much as I love Destiny's gameplay loop, I have realized that my time and money mean nothing to Bungie as long as they keep profiting. Besides, I'm having a blast on Battlefield 3 Reality Mod.

P.S. Sorry to say but Peter Dinkywinky was a shitty voice actor when it came to the OG Ghost. I assure you, Nolan North does it better.

  11. 14:30, and that's not talking about how they gutted an entire category of weapon and only had two active 110 handcannon archetype weapons that was obtainable, one was only obtainable through Iron Banner while the other was made no longer obtainable after the season prior to the DLCs release.

And for their next trick, they buffed the 110s to be 120s and woopty fucking do, there was barely an aggressive frame hand cannon in the game to try it out with. Way to kill weapon variety and make a buff next to pointless Bungie…

  12. It’s sad to see a game title such as Destiny fall so low just after they had started improving upon it with Forsaken.
I’ve been playing Destiny since the Dark Below days and I love this franchise to death. But seeing it turn into something like this is heartbreaking. As a solo player it really is hard to get yourself to play this game, even with as much as I love it.
I have faith in Bungie, they’re a good-hearted studio full of passionate people, I think that D2 will be improved upon eventually.
Thanks for the great content bro, I can’t wait for Sandstorm to release on Xbox.

  14. I was actually tempted to install Destiny 2 to play it again. After watching this, however. I don't think I will, even though I am mainly a PvE player on most games I play, it seems they shafted both the PvE and PvP community in one expansion. Which is a shame.

  15. the monument to lost lights is pretty cool. bungie could have very easily said "go fuck yourself" to anyone who wanted older weapons, and while I honestly thought they would, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they did not. Aside from that this DLC sucks and i dont like the new seasonal format

  16. I felt the game got further and further away from fun gunplay – I just don’t play any more and it’s sad because it used to be something that pulled all my friends together online!
