  1. As casual…next time summoner is in the loot for 3 wins…I'll play…no desire for the armor or any other weapons really.
Haven't played since stasis dropped…so trials will be even more cheese and BS

  2. I just do not think Crucible is Bungies top priority. Maybe down the road they'll address certain thing's. But right now they just throw stuff in, make the tiniest of changes just so people won't be too angry & leave it at that. It really sucks.

  3. Why don't the streamers team up with the community to change Destiny? I know you rely on it for money but lets be real someone needs to step up and make a petition with some weight because like me and others we dont want to see this game die.

  4. D1 flawless gear was great. Looks cool and had an ELEMENTAL affinity. I see no reason as to why we shouldn’t get elements to our D2 adept gear. Also, you pointed out the painful grind to get decent pvp roles. Why would we ever want auto loading holster on a pvp centered drop? If anything all of D2 trials has been a step back. Still, I don’t go flawless for me I help people. However, I would like more personal reasons to go. Something I feel value in. Current gear is not it. Adept master working is also baby numbers.

  5. The ENTIRE game needs more content . With the amount of money they make off of it, this game should see SO much more content. Including new crucible and gambit maps every season. Bungie is doing the bare minimum and people still defend them it’s ridiculous

  6. I have only gone flawless once since they brought it back this year and to be frank, most people are just trying to max out the number of times they can go flawless in a weekend. Not caring about the loot because there is no hype for it (well not anymore).

  7. Mate, I hate to break it to you, but loot isn’t the thing killing trials. I love the channel, but you are too good at this game to understand the problem with trials. It’s also not cheaters or bad connections or anything like that.

The fact that me and two friends with a combined average of ~1.3 KD are going to match against top tier players like yourself before we even hit 4 wins is 80% or more of the reason trials is withering.

Getting stomped by players much better than you… Is. Not. Fun. It’s also not competitive.

It’s great that you Sherpa or carry people to the lighthouse. It really is. I went once in D1 with Gigz and it was a real treat. Since then I’ve made it on my own a handful of times. But going when you really couldn’t have gotten there without a helping hand, that’s definitely a special experience.

I love the mode and the loot and the format, but I am average enough that after the population dips the lighthouse goes from challenging to impossible real fast with a dropping population. Lately, 7 and even 5 wins are pretty tough to come by.

Like any tournament or competitive activity, we need some kind of leagues or divisions by skill (5-10 rough ‘buckets’, not strict SBMM) to create a legitimately competitive, but still fun, environment.

There’s a reason pretty much every game or sport works this way. I used to be a bit better at tennis than I am at Destiny, if I had to guess. I was about a 3.5 in USTA ratings. About a 4.0 on my best days, but never consistently. A decent amateur. Ratings probably technically go wider than this, but you basically don’t bother below 2.5 or above 5.5. 6.0+ is low level pro skill level and leagues/tournaments just go to ‘open’ at that point. There aren’t many recreational 6.0 players either.

The thing is, there are tournaments and competitive, fun matches with stakes people care about at every level from 3.0 to 5.0 or 5.5 going on all the time all over the world. And nobody in any of those situations, ever has to beat Roger Federer or Serena Williams in the 3rd round to stay in the tournament and have a chance at a trophy or a plaque or whatever symbolic respect of their peers is used.

They also don’t get shit on by 13 year olds and teabagged either, but that’s a whole other topic.

People will play for fun. It’s a game. We almost don’t need loot at all. (I agree it should be way better, FWIW). They just need it to not be a brutal suck fest for 90% of the players.

  8. Trials doesn't make them money. Bungie would make more money by putting a battle royale in the game then fix trials. Bungie could easily put the wrathborn hunt system in trials if they actually cared. The fact that there are hackers still in trials should tell you how muçh trials matter.

They would rather you buy hats for your ghost then have actual good game play loops.

  9. Yes. YES. This is exactly what Adept Trials weapons need! I've been saying this since they've come out! No one is going to give a damn about Adept weapons, going flawless, or even playing Trials to try and go flawless if you're VERY likely to get some trash roll on your Adept weapon that is absolutely going to be worse than a good roll on any other weapon. A curated roll on Adept weapons that's guaranteed is absolutely going to to give players a reason to want to jump in and play Trials and try to go flawless. If you know you're going to get an amazing roll on an Adept weapon guaranteed players know at the end of their quest lies a weapon that'll be amazing and worthwhile. RNG is a bitch. Knowing that Adept weapons are a great way to get around bad RNG makes these weapons super desirable. Imagine getting something like an Adored from the flawless chest. That alone significantly improves the quality of Adept weapons, but also giving a separate slot for Adept mods and an intrinsic celerity would just be icing on the cake at that point.

Making Adept weapons so much better would already be so helpful in bringing more players into Trials (which it DESPERATELY needs), but also giving more rewards on the lower end for players who can't get many wins (like getting more tokens say from bounties, I mean it is stingy AF; AND not deleting tokens between weekends like WTF is the point?) would absolutely significantly improve the population for Trials. And keep in mind with more players means a wider range of skill levels so Trials becomes easier with a lack of skill creep, and you get less laggy matches since the game can reasonably find teams within your area. So more players already gives a better experience in itself, Bungie just needs to give more incentive for the average player to play Trials.

  10. If what you said is introduced into the game ddosers will be coming out everywhere. The true fix for this game will always be dedicated servers with loot that has curated rolls. Example being felwinter, and how shot package exclusively being put on that gun.

  11. Agree with the points stated. I feel there is too much stigma behind trials and we need a full PVP end game refresh in general. Elimination can be fun but the player pool is so small that when you divide it by 7 it just no longer makes sense.

  12. trials on D2 is the biggest disappointment if you want to compare it to trials in D1, in D1 the loot were very special and when you get an adept it used to feel like your are a god but now its just waste of time

  13. Again, since the first week of the Adept Weapons debut, cool idea, but poor execution, as I can say unless they make some changes before the Palidrome, Swarm and Shadow Price come in when next Season starts with their original and Adept versions.

  14. You understand that no-one plays trials, but you want more content diverted towards trials. The only people who still play trials were the ones who wanted it in the first place. Just let it die dude trials was never going to be what you wanted it to be

  15. I agree that adept weapons are a failure, but there’s also a lot more that’s wrong with trials too. I think adding celerity is brilliant as intrinsic, but they also need to add emblems, shaders, additional incentives to make trials more desirable for more players. The more people that play, the wider the pool, the more varied and interesting matches get. Come on Bungie, I dare you to read this one.
