So after beyond light so much have changed that my old beginner guide was no longer relevant so I decided to make a brand new Destiny 2 beginner guide for all of you new or returning players in 2021.

As a new player in Destiny you have so much information to take in and most guides just try to explain everything which in my opinion does not make any sense because as a new player you cannot comprehend it all at once. That is why my beginner guide for Destiny 2 takes the approach of pointing you in the right direction and then let you discover the game for yourself. A lot of people were really happy with the last beginner guide so I hope that this one will be just as useful to people!

  1. LOL Great video man. I have one question. I'm returning after taking a long break I stopped playing D2 during Warmind and didn't transfer my Battle.net account over to Steam so I'll be making a new account. My question is do I need to buy Forsaken just for the subclasses and supers that came with it or will buying Beyond Light automatically give me those as well? Also I've seen talk of Forsaken supers being taken out of the game? I'm okay with spending money but it's just so confusing to know what to buy to "unlock" my class fully with all the supers and subclasses available.

  3. thanks for this, i was so confused. It seems i need to buy the campaigns so before i do that i'll look into other things like leveling up, and seeing if i like the game enough to spend $40 on it lol

  4. Great video, is your clan accepting newcomers to destiny 2? I’ve only been on for a week now, but I’m gaining good ground, at least I feel like I am haha. I’m needing some help getting through the presage mission, trying to get dead man’s tale, but that’s tough as a solo, but I’ve made it half way through.

  5. I've had the game for 3 seasons. I still don't know what I'm supposed to do. I just play random quests and then put the game away for a couple more months cuz I don't have any solid direction or purpose.

  6. This has been quite useful.
I've been playing FPS for a long time, with Titanfall 2 as my favorite, but Destiny's aiming system seems weird on PS4, too slow and suddenly too fast, I've increased the sensitivity, but it is still quite weird, what would you recommend?
This is what is making me not want to continue playing, but I've enjoyed what I've played so far.

  7. Thank you for this guide! I have about 180 hours in D2 since it released, but I've just messed around with strikes, bounties and a bit a raiding. The leveling system has always been confusing to me and I've felt like I've been in the dark. This video was very helpful!

  8. It is quite sad that Bungie doesn't give us noobies a helping hand. I have not played first Destiny and I have only now started to play the Destiny 2 Free version so far. I enjoy the game, but man I am so lost in what to do and where to go. It does not help that NPCs are talking about people you have not met and you have no context of what's up with them. With this, I can at least buy the DLC and know where to start. So thank you.
