i would trade lament for Guillotine anyday, that guy at the start of the video was right it takes up our exotic slot thats the biggest downside imo, i prefer using guillotine + eriana for example

Lament is by far the best PvE weapon hands down.
Wouldn’t you want major spec mod for that cabal guy
A quick note Fallout, the Laments combo, can be done while in the air, something FG cannot do
what would win:
a blade made from the deepest technology of braytech known to delete bosses,
or
some spinny boi
Why don’t you use the cabal lost sector boss on Nessus like ehroar?

Remember guys you can actually do 4 lights in your lament combo instead of 3.

Lol funny story:
-We're doing DSC, Atraks encounter. We tell everyone "Alright Boyz, equip those laments" it was me and 3 other clanmates + 2 randoms. One of the randoms equipped his but the other one was playing the egotistic role and kept saying "that swords trash, I fused it into my guillotine after quest". We made a couple jokes and let him use his guillotine, went forward with the damage phases. We wiped twice cuz of some minor errors and literally both wipes he had the absolute lowest damage of all of us 😂.
One of my clanmates says "oh boy, I sure wish I didn't dismantle that lament right about now" as a joke and the random rage quits.

Welp time to throw myself into trials for Eye of Sol to replace my Izanagi
For single target damage Lament takes the cake, sure, but the Falling Guillotine has AOE damage with the spin attack capable of taking not just the prime target but also all the trash around it.
My lement quest is stuck on the exo challenge and i did the exo challenge like 4 times and it didn't progress. And i am too lazy to test if it works on another character
While Lament is clearly a beast, I find it hard to give up my exotic slot for something that most of the time Guillotine will do more than enough and it lets me carry Eriana's Vow which does a simular job(Good for champions) but is also really versitile. I like Lament, sure I will use it, but Guillotine is my go to.
