  1. Yes, this is what I’m saying. Even recently they’re getting way more popular. Last few games it’s been like 50% fusions for special weapons. They can main them any more than the other special weapons too. It’s just not feasible to play cover all the time, so they end up functioning similarly to primaries.

  2. My biggest problem with fusions is the fact that they take over the gunfights that most primaries are most effective in. Most of these fusions charge so fast that you need to hit a 3 tap with a hand cannon or hit the optimal ttk with the primary to win the gunfight. It makes the game really boring when you try to gun someone and their fusion casually one shots with zero difficulty. Not to mention scav mods make it so people never need to pull out their primary. Also who the fuck thought felwinter needed another nerf and fusions didn’t.

  3. I don’t get why it’s a problem when a weapon archetype other than HC, shotty, or snipe gets used more. Those three all have the best advantages in the game and have been staples in competitive environments from day 1 (including currently). As someone who doesn’t like to use those archetypes I enjoy metas that make other options more competitive with the most competitive archetypes in the game.

  4. Asking this in all seriousness and don't mean to come off sarcastic. Why exactly are fusion's a problem when they have a charge time to get a 1-hit kill when shotguns are strictly better close, slugs beat them close/breaching mid, and snipers beat mid/long? All being instant rather than pre-charging being necessary to contest those. With the ammo economy being the same unless you miss a 1-hit it's always confused me how fusions are a problem if snipers and shotguns aren't with the only difference being snipers need more skill but have a much greater payoff if you are skilled.
