Destiny 2 Beyond Light definitely had its ups and downs, and I think I put a lot of emphasis on the negatives, but there is still a decent amount of net positives to enjoy with this latest DLC expansion. But I'll be curious what you all think. My impressions are simply my own, and I'm always happy to hear different points of view.

  4. D2 beyond light has more than enough contact for casual player like me but it would be awesome if they make campaign with good story line so casual gamers can connect themselves with the world and come back again and again .

    Destiny 2 deserve a good story line ..
    For me this dlc is 7.5/10 . It can be 8 or above if the campaign was good . What a miss opportunity ..

  6. I thought D2 was supposed to be "everything prior to the latest DLC is free to play"? Or is it just the base game? If it's just the base game, man, there isn't a whole lot there to draw players in after they stripped over half the game away

  9. What’s really pathetic is after you take into consideration that people speed run. Essentially, you can do everything in beyond light ($50 in total) in around 1-4 hours. It’s ridiculous.

I mean some games allow you to chose what to download, like in the master chief collection one can choose to download h1,h2,h3,h4,h reach, and cod allows people to download multiplayer, or campaign, or zombies. In a way though, I think it's neat if they remove at least two planets, maybe not 4, because it's nice to return to something you haven't seen in a while, so let's say they are currently revamping Venus, then I suggest they remove Venus entirely for now so that when the new and improved venus is available, people can visit the old and the new and make the old seem even a little bit newer than before just because we had not seen it in a while, you know what I mean?

  15. I loved Destiny 1. It's a beautiful game with several flaws. Crazy to see all these years later Bungie still has no idea how to manage Destiny 2. All style and no substance and it has just gotten worse and worse. What a dumpster fire.
