Destiny 2 Beyond Light is here! The brand new D2 Expansion brings brand new Stasis supers, Revenant for Hunter, Behemoth for Titan, and Shadebinder for Warlock. Each new Subclass has full customization with Aspects and Fragments. The new DLC also brings Europa, a brand new Patrol Public space filled with lost sectors and new materials to grind for! Many Characters return like Variks, Drifter, Eris, and the Stranger. The new enemy is the Stasis wielding Fallen, Eramis. New Exotics, New Strikes, New Story, and much more! Beyond light? More like beyond overpriced
You know Chibi I went back to Destiny 1 today to mess around and I had more fun (and also much more variety of activities to chose from). Destiny 1 is still ahead of D2 which is very odd. Destiny 2 is not in a good place.
Nah, cosmodrome is a copy paste, maybe some slight texture updates but it still has the same glitch spots and out of bounds areas from Destiny 1

In all seriousness i never find "value" in destiny content, i like the atmosphere and playing with friends, my friends make the value for me and destiny provides the medium, a nice place visually, and cooperatively hang out with friends, everything else is just, eh for me
Xbox game pass ultimate gives you destiny 2 and all the dlc’s including beyond light for free

We paid for Destiny and Destiny 2. I don't like when we pay for content and they remove it or add content from Destiny 1 and have us pat for it. Destiny 1 & 2 should be merged, like WOW. We have all the planets, strikes and raids. Miss Destiny 1 raids.
as a long time solo player i still feel that again i am paying for lots of content that i dont play and leads to less desire to play over time

Its unfortunate I'm saying that now buuuut we all knew deep down this was gonna happen ….. especially when it came to loot.
When I got It it was 32.99 for standard 42.99 for cappain +season 59.99 for deluxe xbox I got deluxe
You have too remember that we are in the middle of a pandemic, there is alot of things to work on but I'm proud that they were able to do what they did so far. We all are struggling with this (people who actually stay quarantined). Also they arent rushing things, they want to slowly bring out content overtime. It has all of bad but theres still good also. My own opinion.

I agree with a lot what was said by chibi in this video I understand bungee has to make money too for their families as well , I just feel for the price there needs to be a happy medium some where the 40$ might be alittle to high for the paid content that actually is in the game to amount of free content that is in the game
its not worth it. simple answer its way too expansive for some supers , 1 raid and the campaign , the rest is old stuff or/and for free

not gonna lie you were kinda triggered.
It's year one all over again!
Imo there's a few things that should've been handled differently.
1. Either – Beyond Light is $20-25 as is, or $30-35 if Europa was behind the paywall like the Dreaming City and Tangled Shore used to be.
2. Sunset weapons can always be infused to the SOFT CAP for the current season, while only current weapons can be infused to the pinnacle cap. Also, moon and dreaming city gear shouldn't be sunset if you still have to pay for it.
3. At LEAST two strikes each on the cosmodrome and Europa, not one on each, plus new PvP maps for both, and a weekly rotating vendor refresh like we had in D1 (each week, a specific weapon with some curated roll is available at each vendor, and one piece of 60+ armor with random stat distributions). Personally I don't mind the new armor sets all being the same set with a different paint job, but I'd want to see something being done with them.
There are other things I'd want to see – namely, alternate Gambit gamemodes – but these 3 things are where I feel bungie really dropped the ball this time. Ultimately – everything Beyond Light added was great. What wasn't added, and what was removed, is where this expansion falls flat.

Absolutely not worth $40 but if you are addicted to Destiny then you’ll pay it. I’ve been addicted for years but I’ve barely played this expansion and it was really hard to fork over $50 for this and the season. This might be the expansion that ends Destiny.
You do realize it's probably like no mans sky game the way the recoup there money at lest most of it if not all frome people playing the game like you. O could be rowing but just check out that streamer video it called bowler news I think I am. Subscribe to he channel he talk's a bout games like these. It's the one with no mans sky and how it works and how it bowed back from canceling the game and make money from it.
I was hoping Beyond Light would keep me engaged in Destiny 2 until Cyberpunk, but fark me when you dont put in a heap of GOOD loot to grind for in a looter shooter, you've basically killed the game. Sunsetting has ruined the game, lack of NEW content is shocking.

bugie is trying to blend the MMO-typical annual expansion with fps-typical season passes like R6 or CoD. failing because the two are incompatible, he has to decide which side he wants to be on MMO or FPS. since the beginning of shadowkeep I think they only lost players because they had nothing to do but the same activities as always that they had played for the same 2 years
Me personally I miss the days in destiny where I was playing on my ps3 and only had one expansion that cost a reasonable price. Now I’m d 2 since I didn’t buy the expansion I feel like I’m capped out on my progression and if I wanted everything I would have to basically buy a whole game that cost 60 dollars. And I know they have to make money but some people like my self don’t have extra money to spare every know again like it’s nothing lol
