Today we take a 180 and play the Revenant Stasis Hunter in a very different way, focusing on slowing & freezing opponents with maximum uptime & looping our abilities for each and every engagement. This is a Stasis Revenant Hunter Build for Crucible/PvP in Destiny 2 Beyond Light.

  1. i had to do a double take cuz i tought it was my hunter on this thumbnail at first glance, I use the exact same shader and wear the sixth coyote 24/7 lmao

  2. I think like you said in a video before that a balance of both builds is better, whisper of durance is probably the best fragment you could have on a hunter because it buffs your melee, dodge and super really nicely, and the lethality of shatterdive with crystals is awesome too, i'd just use whisper of durance + whisper of shards for more grenades with mask of bakris

  3. Been running this since before the shatter build video, partly because I only just got Bakris an hour ago. I like it for the constant ability uptime in a meta where abilities are more meta than the guns. It's very nightstalker-esque which is my main since it feels like it's about fighting dirty. I was originally shotgunning with it but I'm picking up Traveler's Chosen for even more ability uptime. It's also good in PvE since again ability spam.

Very different playstyle from Bakris, Bakris is explosive, aggressive, and very lethal especially with a skilled shift but this offers constant oppression, suppression, and support for teammates.

  4. This is how I've been playing on PS4. Duskfield to stem the tide of onrushing enemies and helps take out supers if you manage to stay alive past the double dodge. Also using Posterity because it's sticky af.

  5. Ah! So Drewsky plays the build I use (after improving it slightly, that's a damn nice ability cooldown loop, I just run Bakris cause nyoom). Nothing feels quite as satisfying as harnessing the power of cones for evil.
Shatter shenanigans are nice, sure, and the Drewsky Dunk is a great meme, but they always felt underwhelming to me. 1-2, maybe 3 kills off a grenade and some very good positioning (and a way to chain grenades), versus a vicious cycle of grenades, melees, dodges, and the delight of the anticone as you watch your enemies desperately try to hit their shots while they slowly freeze and all hope leaves their eyes, standing face to face with a frozen enemy as your storm guarantees their death, freezing any player who dares to try to shotgun ape in your direction, SHATTERING THE HOPES OF ANY ENEMY SUPER AS THE SLOW RUINS THEIR CHANCES OF GETTING KILLS, CRUSHING THEIR WILLS AND SENDING THEM RUNNING FROM THE-

I should probably go back to gunslinger for a while. Maybe. (But stasis is just so fun.)

  6. Been doing this since I got both fragments. But been half assing it cause I didn't fully utilize all the armor mods and stuff like you but I will say you are right about this build its a team player build for sure there has been plenty of plays where I just slow the enemy but can't get the kill and next thing you know my teammates pick it up. Ooh and side note did you even die in these clips Iol good vid boss love the content
