Actually, shiver strike can be activated from a complete standstill. Idk If you can skate from a stand still, but just fyi

You can regenerate your melee if your sword is out of ammo if you jump and then punch and if timed right you will get around 1/2 of your melee back and you can do it twice to fill it all the way up.
you dont have to run, and you can reset your strike mid-air, and do it again and go a lot faster then you show
if you melee twice after shiver strike you get melee back fully 🙂

Sprint has nothing to do with the melee. Its can be activated at a standstill
