  1. I love the video's man. But I don't know why the outro needs to be so loud… I know everyone does it. But you're like the David Attenborough of the D2 community and your video ends with a rave party… Maybe next video can be about the Shotgunius Apius or the Flying Sniprious? Keep up the good work!

  2. I know your videos are always really good and complete, but I was kind of expecting "git gud", the end.

Also, I believe a lot of things said here applies to life in general.

  3. I see from pretty much every youtuber that the key to doing well in general is simply getting better at game sense, not getting tilted and if you disagree with this logic you're falling into "scrub mentality" as you put it. I find that take out of touch with reality and disingenuous.

What I never see acknowledged is the very real skill ceiling everyone holds, and the reality that no matter how much someone trains themselves and practices applying the logic you and other content creators suggest is the key to getting better, most people will likely just remain average at the game even with these lessons under their belt.

Let's look at it this way. I swam for 18 years. I competed at the national level, was ranked in the top 100 globally in my best event at my peak, and have a few national medals to my name. Back in my high school days my best friends and I trained everyday together. We did the same sets, practiced the same yardage, and put in the same effort. When it came time for our swim meets though my natural talent had me in a different league then they were in.

Talent matters and I feel like these videos completely ignore that fact. You, Cammy, CoolGuy, Drewsky, and others are all incredibly talented, but your views on "scrub mentality" or the idea that if you put in the effort and mindset you'll become a crucible slayer would be like me accusing my less talented friends/teammates of being scrubs because they couldn't swim at the same level of me. I'll end with this, take your idealogy and apply it to learning how to swim. Sure you could improve with time, but if you trained for an entire year and we met up and raced each other I would win effortlessly rolling out of bed, and I haven't swam competitively for 7 years.

  4. I'm one of those problematic hunter's duel welding side arms and Gemini Jesters. Always go after the slayer on the opponent's team, if they out preform you in one skill set, well, slow them to a crawl, make them go after you, bate them into becoming frustrated, making mistakes, then ya make the kill, e-mote something like a salute if it was a hard fought win and so on. The game is best when you have amazing opponents to go up against, and, only thing that limits anyone of us is imagination. Have fun and, don't get tilted, just laugh and learn.

  5. Frankly, I don't enjoy Destiny's PvP at all. I only play Iron Banner and I cannot wrap my head around the discrepancy between primary gunplay and all the instakills. But I enjoy learning about it a lot. That's why I watch guys like you, CoolGuy, Cammy, Drewskys, Frostbolt again and again every week (like learning about aviation without having to be a pilot, LOL). Thanks for the top notch comment.

  6. Hey Nomad, a bit of an arbitrary choice of video for this, just happened to be in my recommended at the time.

I've watched quite a few of your videos and videos from others of similar purpose, and have been interested in trying to git gud for a while (but have never earnestly began the process). The concern that makes me tentative to do so is my framerate. In other fps games I can keep a worst case of 90 fps so I have no issues, but on some d2 maps with all settings at lowest and even a lower resolution I'm often running as low as ~25fps. While it feels nigh on impossible to play at times, I know a lot of that is probably just psychological. With all this in mind, I have a simple question:

Is it so much as worth trying to become a solid player with this setback? A very subjective question I know… but I'm interested your opinion. Does some average schmuck have a hope in hell of getting anywhere at that kind of fundamental disadvantage?

  7. Another great video. Sadly I'm one of those with a significant time investment in the crucible and only a mediocre skill level. I'd love to see a video on assessing my own skill, would be nice to have some idea on strengths and weaknesses and how to overcome.

  10. Stasis did ruin PVP. However we can't change that so let's try to adapt or at least counter in some regards. Even if it's standing in the far back with Arbalest or a Sniper and don't have fun. Or go balls to the wall max aggro on those popsicles!

  11. I have about a 1000 hours in Destiny 2 and i am horrible at crucible, pvp in general…. that thing called gamesense…yeah that doesn`t exist in my head 😂 sometimes i wonder why i grind pvp god rolls of weapons when i obviously dont know at all how to use them 😂

But i still love your videos! I just think i am too old to develope gamesense, it`s not easy when you first started playing fps games at 36 🙂
