EDIT/UPDATE: Apparently wellspring is bugged so that if it recognizes 3 charges total of abilities, it won't grant energy. So yes it works for a single ability.

With bungie bringing 600 ar damage back down to 600 smg damage, I think this gun has a real chance to shine. You get the range of a 720 ar, but the mobility and added benefits a smg gives you. Excited to get a great roll on this gun

It really isn’t though. Had a god roll and used it for a while but it honestly sucks balls compared to other kinetic primaries. Maybe it’s different on PC but on console the recoil is unbearable and the range is god awful. Please stop hyping these very bad guns

I mainly play PVP but I am surprised you did not even mention the insane combo perk of subsistence and Rampage which is amazing on that submachine gun for PVE

Honestly killing wind with wellspring is the combo I want on most guns, it’s the new god tier perk combo imo
Subsidence and rampage/unrelenting is a far better combo for titans at least.
i got a decent roll with subsistence and rampage with range master work. shreds pretty well.

It is not the best SMG post sunset. Feeding frenzy kill clip Cold Front with stability masterwork is best smg now by far.
