  1. Honestly they should have just vaulted the weapons along with the content no sunsetting and makes more room for other weapons I honestly wish season of dawn weapons were still here

  2. it will come back maybe be yearly or bi yearly thing because seriously its pointless then to really farm for anything it would be a waste an everyone who empty their box got really screwed so it be stupid to not bring back Sunsetting in a new form.

Im all for sunsetting but maybe a yearly or bi yearly thing

  3. I’m relatively new to Destiny 2. Still can’t believe Bungie stopped making Halo games to create this mess of game. Sunsetting sounds like a really bad idea. Bungie is too talented for their own good, the game is waaay too complicated, unbalanced and full of bugs still after 4 years… Everything Halo is not.

  4. I dont think people realize that sunsetting didn't delete their guns, you can still use them in 90% of the content people do. Even with 1 sunset weapon, You can remain at about 1290 This season. That isnt master Nightfall level, but that allows me to use Mountaintop in Deep stone Crypt. Still use your sunset weapons, armor is a different story, but unless you're doing a nightfall, I don't see any problem with using a sunset weapon

  5. Solves the problem sun setting should never be a thing I'm just happy they did it b4 next seasons end and they just need to keep adding to the game d3 doesn't need to happen destiny could be just like wow if bungie does it right

  6. If bungie put out a feedback forum on recommendations for dealing with power creep, they'd prolly get some creative answers that have some merit to them as well as probably being reasonable

  7. But there's no conspiracy here… the video is just an over-long analysis of the obvious. Overpowered guns were removed and the baseline was reset. If Bungie learned their lesson then they will avoid power creep. Otherwise we will see another weapon retirement wave sometime in the future.

The only reason power creep exists is to keep players excited. It's a short-term solution to increasing the player base, which is why we see it in so many games. But power creep is not sustainable and creates problems over time, so games have to be wiped or reset (as happens with MTG or any video game that has a 2.0 version released). Every new season in Destiny is a chance to reset, since the artifact mods change the meta.

The solution to power creep is to issue balanced but fun guns. However, this doesn't always thrill the players. So instead we are likely to get slightly OP guns that are nerfed in time. Everyone gets to play with the shiny toys and by the time they are tamed, new toys exist.

Same the artifacts mods and abilities. Stasis was definitely OP at release… don't think this was an accident! it is slowly getting tamed. First by immediately crucifying Warlocks, then by slowly, slowly bringing OP Titans under control. Plus ca change.

  8. its mildly infuriating how he does not shoot the barrier champions with the scout rifle when they pop their shields even if he has anti-barrier rounds but wait for his teammates to do it

  9. They already took away recluse, bygones, and other awesome weapons so none of this shit matters. All those weapons were awesome as Fuck, so they will just repackage and resell us these weapons Smfh

  10. They can’t undo sunset weapons…deleting half of your inventory because they tell you it’s not going to be able to be infused and then having them go hehe never mind. Would never trust them again

  11. Sorry bro, the only guys complaining about "powercreep" are you youtubers a holes.

Normal people never had a problem for that. Its just lazyness to not wanna building new stuff

  12. Destiny 3 is coming (or whatever they are going to call it dude). It's just going to happen after Lightfall and at the end of the Destiny light/darkness saga. They would have released it before but they just didn't have the resources.. Now, they get to finish the game and then release D3 with a new story or whatever it's going to be. Destiny 1/2 (light/dark story) will go to movies and tv shows.

  13. I’m not expecting new perks to keep showing up at the rate they have recently. I think if you’re expecting tons of new perks every three months you’ll be disappointed. And I don’t think it’s necessary.

  14. Pinnacle weapons being made irrelevant will always be one of the saddest moments of D2 for me. PvE>PvP in number of players, and should be prioritized, and those weapons were fun as heck in PvE. Loaded Question, Wendigo, etc. It was a good time.

  15. nice vid.
I miss my Breakneck and wendigo. Still irritated that some items like that are pretty much off the table for all but messing about on patrol.
Warframe does a good job of offering the lateral power options and even more enhanced with deeper mod system but they don't care about PVP although they do tune pvp separate.
Destiny needs to get the PVP truly separate tuning thing right, it has been a problem since 2014 release…

  16. I personally dont want it removed….just executed way better. Activities? Yes bring it all back. Armor? bring it back. Weapons yes but not a complete massive nuke to all of them. I primarily want difficulty and challenges….what I'm holding in my hands is irrelevant I'm perfectly fine with adapting.

  17. plot twist: They had planned this all along. They wanted to erase all the old meta gear so people would play new stuff more, but lacked a way to do it without people getting mad. So they would implement sunset then remove it, and we the playerbase would appreciate the removal of sunset.

  18. We want our recluse and mountaintop back ! Bungie we dont care if you stop sunsetting we want the weapons you have taken away from us ! You gave it to us to earn for a huge effort and farming and you just took it away … T_T heartless

  19. You can see what they are thinking by looking at the availability of perks on certain weapons. Bungie is removing perks from weapon pools to prevent them from rolling certain combos to keep them in line.
