In this video, we are taking a look at the brand new revenant subclass for hunters. With beyond light bungie added 3 new stasis subclasses in destiny 2. They are definitely really good in PVP so here is a review of the hunter one.

The super is very good in PVE, not really a PvP super, in PVE mode, I was soloing bosses really quick, it’s a crowd control super,
Will the others subclasses have customization later on?

There definitely needs some changes for this class to actually be good in both PvP and PvE. It’s not doing that well in either of those areas. I think the throwing knives could go a little more distance before dropping off. I also think the tornado could definitely be faster. Either that or just follow the user as like a self aoe thing.
Destiny 1 will always be the better game. Should have just released more DLCs for it instead of making D2

Honestly, I think the super isn't actually as bad as everyone thinks. Sure it doesn't kill very well, but the territory control it gives you is incredible. Unlike tether, it actually chase down enemies and forces them to retreat, and with how long the tornado lasts, if used in the right place, you just win the next few gunfights.
If people are showcasing the hunter that don't normally play Hunter and they're not Hunter means they're going to think that it's s*** literally if you know how to play with that super it's going to be f**** ridiculous 🙉🙈🙊😈
Honestly I think the hunter super is one of the better stasis abilities (for pve at least don't really care about pvp)

I use this in comp because everyone else is using stasis. Gotta fight fire with fire lmao
You underestimate the power of Revenant, its great for team shooters that like to stick together cause of the melee richoche and the melee has the ability to hit headshots, also the super if enemies are close together, the fragment that gives you gernade recharge when breaking stasis crystals also works in pvp so you can basically spam cold snap nades, I can go on but no need
Yeah I knew stasis in general was going to be a massive disappointment. This is just another subclass. Not nearly as cool as darkness powers should have been

After playing way of the wrath 24/7, everyone just can't think of a hunter in a different way, only as a wallhack boi with the super which will allow you to make a full circle around map while you are killing everyone. It's not about you, Zk, just in general.
But let's be honest. It's the completely new gameplay for hunter, with territory control. With melee ability you don't even need a line of sight to get the enemy behind the corner. Super is blade barrage, but also with the tornado that won't let anyone to pass.
For Warlock and Titan I feel like it's a combination of everything old and broken long time ago. Warlock melee is celestial fire but freezes, super is nova warp but you need to freeze your enemies before using. Titan melee is again running melee (it's fun but not really new as it was with the middle striker) and super is a striker and big hammer compined with this ground waves. I didn't play warlock and titan yet, just watched gameplay and maybe tying it myself will change how I feel about it, but for now it's like this.
Nobody knows how to play Revenant it properly yet. In PvE it feels cool, one shuriken can even kill 5 mobs in a row, and super just doesn't let enemies get closer to you. One thing in PvP is that I just feel lack of armor on super, because you stay in the air for too long, but other things are completely fine for now if you get to know them.

The slowing effect is insane. Slowing, reducing stability, removing weapon accuracy, removing reload speed, removing weapon handling, and disorienting.

Wellspring is an amazing perk on the new guns to compliment stasis builds if you don't wanna use travelers.
Spectral is pointless now bc you can just freeze it

To be honest, when I try Gambit match for the Side Quest, damn, I got two people with Revnant when they were depositing motes, which I feel bad, but when I throw Revenant stasis, I manage to freeze one person, not sure if that something to do with me throwing two pickaxes or probably he accidently get hit and froze. But OP on Warlock and Titan Stasis, the fact they'll destroy Titan Bubble Shield, and RIP Titan Bubble Shield though
All three subclasses are busted in PvP doesn’t really matter which way you put it.
Everyone calling trash this trash that when we're only on week 1 and we only have 1 aspect and 2 fragments lmao. Warlocks being this strong this early shows how overtuned they got but I think hunters and titans are going to have a lot more potential

We hunters just want a break from all the hate. In many people's eyes our stasis is bad but to be honest I'm still a hunter from day one no matter if our stasis is bad. I'll still use it and ill still love it because of me being a hunter.
So Titan and warlocks get half decent stasis subclasses and hunters get a glorified blade barrage… bungie definitely has something against hunters
