This was a helluva read. Clovis was the only man who was determined to keep going to get what he wanted. His goals nearly unobtainable but somehow he did it. From creating a warmind that has predicted the traveler from dippping on us and a nano tech without a kill switch this man was truly ambitious in his goals. Wanted perfection from his family but in the end knew that the human minds cant achieve such things. This is an amazing read. That bit where he says that being alone makes him happy somehow relates to me a lot more than it should. It's crazy to think that I kinda support Clovis in doing what he did. Unethical or not he did not stop himself nor did anyone stop him.
This lore entry is freaking NUTS!
I like how Clovis says "food here", "reduce density", and "generate new colony" and those basically translate to "eat", "shit", "fuck".

Here's what I'm thinking is gonna happen: in lightfall, the city will be destroyed and the traveler will die. We fully convert to darkness abilities and work with the exo stranger, eris, and the drifter to survive in the new collapse/dark age. Eventually, we prefect bray/vex tech and go back in time with our dark abilities to defeat the darkness in the past before it destroys us.

We don't really know where the vex came from. They poured into our reality from a tear that Crota created.
They were not afaik created by the black garden. A particular sect of vex worship it, but I'm fairly certain they were not born of it.
The Vex seem to just be a lifeform that evolved differently to us. This book literally explains their beginnings, more or less. Clovis seems to have figured it out. This is the closest we've ever gotten to knowing where the Vex came from.
